Jeff's Tomodachi Life Blog

This blog describes my crazy adventures in Tomodachi Life, a bizarre simulation game for Nintendo 3DS. It is available now. Check out my Tomodachi Life review, scan QR codes, or buy Tomodachi Life at Amazon.

Entry 22: The Second Camper

Miss Piggy and Zoidberg informed me that they recently got a letter from Henry!

He's currently enjoying his time on StreetPass Relay Point Island. Sounds exciting.

Interestingly, I took a look at the port and I got to see Henry just leaving. So how did he arrive before he left? Maybe he's a time traveler.

In Jeff's apartment, he showed me his funny face. It's a bit more frightening than funny, if you ask Mii.

I gave Annyong some cherries, and he loved them! He started dancing and grinning from ear to ear. He found his all-time favorite food!

On the Mii News, I learned of the Lindsay jewelry that's all the rage. It really puts the "Lin" in bling.

I haven't played Tomodachi Quest in a long time, mainly because it's a bit time-consuming compared to other mini-games and events. But I successfully made it through the game this time; the final boss was a Game Boy.

Tobias has already learned all of the concert hall songs in the game, so I decided to give him a catchphrase when I leveled him up again.

He could use this phrase in all sorts of commercials: Advertising a fire sale, spicy foods, or maybe even a pill for some...health conditions.

Buster gave me a travel ticket, and I wanted to see what it was all about. So I gave it right back to him! He took Mr. Bean to Hawaii!

I got to see some of the pictures they took while they were there.

When I checked in with Shaq, he had a very odd question for me. He asked if I heard any froggy noises coming from his apartment. I can't help but wonder if Kermit came to Wolf Bobs Island looking for Miss Piggy, and Shaq did something to him.

Today, I had a StreetPass hit and a traveler arrived! It's Melvin, who came from Casalafran Island!

He explored the island for a bit before setting up his tent. But once he was ready, I stopped in to visit with him. He sold me some chow mein, which is a special food, for four play coins.

He showed me a picture he took with Tobias.

I wanted to level him up, so I was looking to see what I could give him. A bath set was one of the options, and I was curious to see how that would work. Obviously he wouldn't have a bathtub out at the campsite. But he did find a way to get clean, in a steel drum!

After he reached level 2, I ended my visit with him. I checked at the import shop, and I purchased a printed T-shirt that Melvin brought with him from Casalafran Island.

Bobby Hill wanted to set Jeff up with Lindsay. I wasn't interested in that, but there was an option for "someone else." I was happy to see that Elly was one of the other choices! So Bobby gave it his best shot.

But sadly, they didn't hit it off. Friend zoned by a video game.

But at least they've met and know each other now. It's taken a long time just to get this far. As for the relationship, I'm not giving up on them!

Just a tip for all Tomodachi Life players. If at all possible, try to never miss the night market. You get three random items for just $50. Sometimes, this will include an apartment interior, which can often cost hundreds of dollars. Today, I got a fairy-tale castle interior. I bet Peach would like this...

That's all I have for now, but I'll be back with more next time. Have a great day!
