I started up the game to find my house expansion was completed. My house is now 8×8, so I have more room to space out my junk furniture.
Back outside, I found the daily money rock for 16,100 bells. I also saw some purple violets and put them next to my house.
I then headed over to the shopping district. Tom Nook told me I owe him 198,000 bells my house expansion. He’s going to have to wait, because I really want that Dream Suite!
Construction had not yet started on Club LOL. One of my readers informed me that Club LOL takes about six days to build, so I guess I’ll have to wait until next week for some music and comedy.
I stopped in the T&T Mart, and there was a megaphone for sale! This is a new tool. If you’re looking for a certain animal, you use the megaphone and say their name. If they’re nearby, they will react with an emotion as if they heard you calling them. You can’t use it in the shopping district though.
While still in the shop, I bought my two fortune cookies. Only one of them was a winner, but it was a good prize. A yellow Pikmin! Even though the word “hat” isn’t part of the item name, it is indeed a hat and not a captured yellow Pikmin running on a hamster wheel, for example. Although that would be pretty cool too…
In the Able Sisters’ shop, I tried on an afro cap. I had no interest in buying it, but I wanted to see how it looked. Labelle said it looked great on me. She’s clearly lying.
^They also had the moon and the stars for sale. But I tried on something else to go with my Pikmin hat; an eye patch!
Rock ‘n’ roll look? If you say so, Labelle. I think she’s just desperate to make a sale.
After coming back into town, I tried out my megaphone. I tried it with Aurora and Harry (when they were somewhat near me) and it worked; it got their attention. But if the animal is too far away, it won’t work. I decided to test it with an incomprehensible yell just to see what it did, and the result?
That’s all for today, but be sure to check back tomorrow for another update!
But it’s not a problem at all, because in her dream, she was told to build a Dream Suite that lets people visit other people’s towns, even when they’re not online! So that got added to the list of projects I can choose from! Suite! I mean, sweet!
This is something I definitely want, so I made this the current project right away. It may take me a while to earn all the bells it requires, but I’m going to work on it!
I then made a late-night trip to the island to catch some fish and bugs, and to grab some bananas. After I returned to the mainland, I planted a couple of bananas on the beach. I then sold some things at
After that, I went to bed. When I started the game up today, I got quite a surprise waiting for me outside my door…it was Shrunk!
He told me that he wanted to open up shop in the shopping district on Main Street. He wants to open a live venue that he calls Club LOL.
So I quickly went around and asked the first six villagers I could find: Big Top, Aurora, Harry, Tex, Katt, and Rory. They all agreed that it sounds like a great idea.
I then hurried to the shopping district to hand the paper over to Shrunk. He said construction will start soon, but he can’t say when exactly it’ll be done. If I were to guess, I’d imagine the construction will be up tomorrow and then it’ll be done on Friday. But we’ll have to wait and see.
That’s great news! I’ve been dying to get some emotions and songs! When I was done talking to Shrunk, I went next door to Nook Homes. Tom Nook congratulated me on paying off my house and told me my next house expansion will be done tomorrow morning.
I then headed over to T&T Mart for my two fortune cookies. I got fortunes #33 and #1. They were good for Pikmin and a mushroom mural, respectively. But before I returned home, I stopped in the Able Sisters and bought a deep blue tee.
Once I got home, I put up my wallpaper and put my Pikmin down. Good thing my house is getting bigger tomorrow, because it’s getting kinda crowded in here!
I also made a stop at the train station. There are lockers here, where you can access your storage if you don’t have a dresser or closet in your house. It’s also convenient to use when traveling. By the way, your storage lets you hold a total of 18 pages, with 10 items on each page. So it can fit 180 items, which is bigger than the storage in City Folk (160 items).
And last but not least, I returned to the beach for some fishing, and to check on my banana trees I planted last night. It looks like they’re going to make it!
Have a great day everyone, and I’ll be back with another update tomorrow! Thank you for stopping by!
If even good memories can make you cry, then I hope I give you lots of good memories, Yuka.
She then asked me how she looked. Muhahahahaha!
Once I was done annoying Yuka, I crossed the railroad tracks and checked out the new convenience store, T&T Mart.
On the inside, well…it looks a lot like Nook ‘n’ Go.
But instead of a Nook Point System machine like in City Folk, this machine gives you access to your catalog. You couldn’t access your catalog at Nookling Junction.
Of course, T&T Mart has more items available for purchase than Nookling Junction. This also means you can now buy two fortune cookies each day, instead of one. So you may want to save four Play Coins each day for New Leaf once you’ve upgraded to T&T Mart.
I redeemed my two fortunes for a fire flower and triple red shells. If you like collecting the Nintendo items in Animal Crossing games, you’re going to find it easier than ever in New Leaf. Depending on your point of view, that could be a good thing or a bad thing.
I thought this meant she was going to give me her snow globe…but no. Instead, she gave me a doghouse. That’s rough. Ruff ruff…
I talked to Fuchsia, and I see that her catchphrase is now “uh-huh.” So Isabelle did indeed wash her mouth out with soap. 😛 I can just imagine… “Do you like the taste of this soap? Say uh-huh! Say it!”
And then Katt asked me for a greeting that would change the impression she makes. Hahahaha, no greeting can overshadow that lovely face of yours, Katt.
