Late last night, Jessica had a snowman bingo number (#50) that I needed, so she let me come over to get it. Apparently all three of her snowmen have the same name.
And today, Skye (the wolf) asked me to collect signatures for a “Scamper to Victory” petition.
Benedict told me that he wants a doll for Christmas. Really??
Maybe I’ll buy him a bus ticket to Aika Village. He can play with all the evil dolls there…unless he’s chicken.
Saharah was in town today, and she redecorated my house with a cabin wall and a sidewalk. She’s already given me both of those items before.
I then went out into the cold to hunt for snowballs. I put two of them together and fortunately, I created a snowmam!
I think she was hitting on me!
I gave her five snowflakes I had in my pockets and she gave me an ice wall. But the best thing is that while she’s here, new snowflakes will appear randomly…even if it’s not snowing! So I kept my eye out for more snowflakes as I made my way around town.
When I crossed the tracks to visit Main Street, Luna told me that Tim from Dimentio was my most recent dream visitor. And GracieGrace had a tuxedo for sale, which I bought. I usually wear a tuxedo on New Year’s Eve in Animal Crossing, so now I have it.
Rolf asked me for some furniture, so I gave him a balloon sofa I shot down from a balloon present. I didn’t think he’d enjoy junk like that, but I was wrong. He liked it so much that he gave me his picture again! I now have duplicates of Rolf, Molly, and Benedict. Yet still none from Big Top, Kidd, Skye, or Teddy. (Well I don’t have Tammy’s either, but I don’t want hers).
Every now and then, I’d notice a snowflake and catch it.
Later on, Tiffiny let me know she was opening her gate. So I went to her town Auctus to get my petition signatures. I also met Mikki and Jet while I was there.
I noticed that one of the human characters in her town had a mailbox that was going crazy! It wasn’t just blinking like there was new mail…the flag was wildly swinging from left to right! I’ve never seen anything like that before, and I’m not sure what it means. (Update: It means the mailbox is full).
I tracked down six of Tiffiny’s villagers, including Bob, who was hiding in the bug room of the museum! Bob was the final signature I needed (even though I stupidly forgot to take a picture of the completed petition). But Bob didn’t remember me from ACCF, so I was heartbroken. 😛
I took the petition back to Skye and she rewarded me with an oil lamp. It made me want to set myself on fire, because I was really hoping for her picture.
Anyway, I caught five additional snowflakes and took them to Snowmam. She gave me an ice floor this time.
I’m going to keep looking for snowflakes so I can hopefully complete the set before she melts. I think I’m going to keep it all in my main room, because from what I’ve seen, the ice set is probably my favorite new furniture series in New Leaf.
He thanked me and rewarded me by giving me this moth orchid.
I had a letter from Katie in the mail; she thanked me for taking her to Rinto yesterday. She attached a sketchbook to the letter.
Not much else was going on in town today, so I did a little Club Tortimer island hopping. I was doing it mainly for shopping, to see if I could find any good items for sale. I didn’t find anything I wanted to buy, but I did run into Mrs. Claus! (It was actually Caitlyn from Ladera).
Later on, I visited a dream town. Porter told me that it was a popular town because it had been used two times by visitors. Uhh, what?
And tonight, I did some bingo exchanges with friends. Skye and Taylor each came to my town to get bingo numbers, and I went to Chris’ town Ruby to get one as well. Chris has outdone me by having two illuminated trees in his town.
So I quickly made my way up there to take a look at it. On the outside, there’s not a whole lot to look at.
And the inside looks exactly like the inside of her tent.
Anyway, she told me an aurora knit shirt was the key to unlocking good fortune. But now that her shop is done, I probably won’t use her services very often. Maybe if I have a bad luck day where I’m tripping a lot, I might see what she has to say. But other than that, I doubt I’ll be seeing her much.
I went to go look at it, only to find that I first needed to attend the ceremony for the opening of Katrina’s shop. Katrina herself showed up; it’s a bit odd seeing her standing up and outdoors.
I was then able to see the bell project. It’s simple, but it looks nice. I do like the interactive projects, so I might consider putting it in my town eventually.
After that, I started looking for snowballs to make a snowman. I wasn’t trying to make a bingo snowman, so I tried making it smaller. I ended up making a snowboy, but not a perfect one.
Aurora tried telling me she was going to move out on the 22nd, but I put an end to that right away. I soon saw Katie once again, asking to go to another town. I checked for open towns and saw Andrew’s town of Rinto had an open gate. So Katie and I boarded the train…
…and arrived in Rinto.
I said hello to Andrew and his friend Ari.
While there, I sold a couple baskets of perfect peaches. Unfortunately, I realized too late that Rinto is a peach town. Oops.
And with that, I wrapped up my day in Forest. See you next time!
