Nintendo sent out a new SpotPass home today; it belongs to Aminka from Shigtown. Her main room is your typical Mario room, but the room on the left is all-gold (similar to my basement). I especially like her gold piggy bank, although it’s debatable whether her throne is better than my golden super toilet.
She also had a nice Zelda room. Unlike most Zelda rooms I’ve seen, she had a mannequin dressed as Link. If you’re wondering why the Triforce is glowing, it’s because I activated it shortly before taking the pic.
Aminka from Shigtown also had a rococo room, a princess room, and this arcade/rec room in the basement.
And just to answer the inevitable question, this was a SpotPass home, not StreetPass. So everyone in North America should receive it, assuming SpotPass is turned on correctly.
I then returned to my town and paid Katrina to tell my fortune. Once again, she told me women’s bottoms were the key to getting lucky. Err…being lucky. Something like that. But as I started to leave, she stopped me. This is it! She suggested a fortune teller’s shop as a public works project!
It costs 340,000 bells, but Isabelle didn’t give me a preview of what it will look like. Unless it looks like a big yellow question mark.
Anyway, I was over by a pond when I heard a noise…splash! Apparently a dung beetle dunked a snowball into the pond!
I went up to Main Street to reset the snowball, and I also updated my dream town. Luna told me that Garrett from Gville recently enjoyed my dream town. I also made a large withdrawal from my bank account and then returned to town to find two snowballs. I made another bingo snowman and got a new bingo card.
My four bingo numbers for today were 14, 26, 43, and 48. My new bingo card had all of them! I may try to make a different type of snowman tomorrow, but I didn’t want my existing snowmen to go to waste. (Without a bingo card in my possession, they won’t spin new numbers).
Anyway, I paid off Katrina’s shop and returned to Isabelle at town hall. It will be done tomorrow, and my Main Street will finally be complete!
Tabby met me in a darkened alley and tried to sell me an armor suit. With this look on her face, I can totally picture her as a creepy salesman.
Chris then came over to get a number punched on his bingo card.
When he was done, I asked him if he wanted to shop before I closed the gate. He said yes, but I made my way into T&T Emporium before he did. So once he entered, he saw me just standing there and thought I was the mall Santa. 😀

As I walked around town, I saw Tabby. She pinged me and suggested a new public works project, a round streetlight. Wow, how many types of streetlights does this game have?
I then went up to Main Street, where Luna told me that Emily from Sheerio was my most recent dream visitor.
When I returned to town, I talked to Tabby again for some reason.
I went looking for my snowballs to make a snowman. For the first time, I had to push one over a bridge. That’s always nerve-racking, but the ball of snow survived.
Because of where the snowballs were, I didn’t want to risk pushing them all the way across town to be with my other snowmen. So I made this one near town hall, and its eyes rolled a 27 for me. It was a number I needed, and it put me only one hole away from a bingo.
I then returned to my other snowmen over by the plaza. One of them had passed away overnight, so only three of them remained. The first one gave me a 26, which I needed. It put me one hole away in two different directions. The next snowman gave me a 37…BINGO!
I scored it diagonally. Here is my winning bingo card:
As a reward, he gave me a ski rack. I’m not sure what I was expecting…
Apparently, the snowman took my winning bingo card when he gave me the ski rack. Because when I talked to the remaining snowman, he wouldn’t roll a new number for me because I didn’t have a bingo card. So I’ll have to make another bingo snowman tomorrow to get a new card. Anyway, this is what the ski rack looks like:
It’s an okay item, but it sure took an awful lot of work to get it.
Skye (the human) came over to punch a bingo card and to get signatures for a petition. When she was done, I wrapped up my game for the night. See you all next time, and good luck with your snowmen!
But before I started fishing, I made my usual rounds. I talked to villagers, watered my flowers, found the money rock, and made my trip up to Main Street. I bought a party popper at the Emporium, and updated my dream town. Luna informed me that my town has had over 3,000 dream visitors now. Thanks to everyone who has visited!
She also told me that Dan from Peloma was my most recent dream visitor. When I was done in the shopping district, I returned to town to go fishing. I caught several fish, which I donated in increasing size order. This is possible because New Leaf tells the sizes of the fish when you catch them. These are the four fish I gave to Chip, along with the reward he gave me for each:
Even though I sold the exercise bike before the tournament ended, I took a picture of my remaining prizes: the sea anemone bed, dotted wall, and crab clock.
With the tournament over, my focus turned to snowmen. I found my daily snowballs and built my fourth bingo snowman. I couldn’t help but think they looked a little creepy staring at me like this.
I then took my gold fishing trophy up to my trophy room on the second floor of the museum.
Later on, Skye (the human) came over to get her bingo card punched. I used the opportunity for a surprise attack with my party popper.
And after 8:00, I went up to Club LOL for some traditional K.K. I asked him for a random song and he performed K.K. Swing.
