My instrument panel project was finished today, so I attended the completion ceremony.
And of course, I had to test it out. Unfortunately, it told me the weather was going to remain nice.
Naturally, I wanted it to snow so I wouldn’t have to water my flowers. But still, this will be one of those rare PWPs that’s actually useful. Other than bridges, most town projects just make your town look better but don’t actually help you out.
Anyway, I tried making a snowboy today…and I actually made him correctly for a change! He’ll be sending me a piece of snowman furniture in the mail tomorrow.
I got a new router today, and I tested it out with Tom this afternoon. I went to his town and I was able to connect on my first try. Also, sometimes his other friends were unable to enter the town when I was there. But his town filled up quickly today.
He told me to check out his instrument shelter, and it said it was going to be sunny out–even though it was nighttime in Tomville!
Chris asked to come over so he could collect signatures for a petition, so I returned to Forest and opened my gate. Tom and Chris both got in without any problems. So it appears that my new router is working much better than my old one. So anyone that’s on my roster and has had trouble connecting, feel free to start trying again. I’ll be opening my gate Friday night around 10pm Eastern time. By the way, I would have taken a picture with Chris, but I don’t think I even saw him the whole time. He collected those sigs like a ninja.
Once he was done, I ended the party. I went up to the Dream Suite, and Luna told me that Carol from Highrule was my most recent dream visitor.
Aurora was still sick, so I bought some medicine for her once again.
I spoke with Tia, and she asked me to fetch Rolf for her. What am I, a dog? Anyway, Tia told Rolf that she found something of his in her flower bed.
It makes you wonder what Rolf is doing in her flower bed so often. Is he peeping through her windows?? Or maybe he just uses that spot as a litterbox. Some questions are better left unanswered, methinks. But Rolf seemed uncomfortable and quickly made up an excuse to leave.
Tia thanked me and gave me a maze wall as a reward for bringing Rolf to her house. I then ended my game for the day, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow. Hope to see you then!
I saw Skye on my metal bench, so I joined her for a minute.
I visited Tom’s town to grab a bingo number I needed. While I was in Tomville, he showed me his new instrument shelter. Last week,
Naturally, this would come in very handy if you were looking for a fish that only comes out in the rain, such as a coelacanth. But it would also be great for knowing when to water flowers. There have been a number of times I’ve watered my flowers, only for it to start raining (or snowing) soon after I finished. I decided I needed this public works project too.
Before long, I ended the party. Tia had asked me for a stringfish, but I wasn’t going to search for one all day. However, I just happened to see a huge shadow in the river, so I fished it out and it was indeed a stringfish. I knew she wasn’t going to give me her picture this early anyway, but I thought I might as well get on her good side. So I went ahead and took the stringfish to her.
I quickly paid it off and returned to town hall. It will be completed tomorrow!
A couple of my villagers mentioned that Aurora was sick, so I went up and bought some medicine for her. Hopefully she’ll start feeling better soon.
I checked one of my existing snowmen, and he rolled a #36 for me. That gave a bingo!
My prize was this curling stone:
Since it was snowing, I decided to make a snowmam today; I wanted to trade in the snowflakes that I caught. It wasn’t a perfect snowmam though, so she required five snowflakes instead of three.
As I ran around town, I kept falling on my face. It was very annoying.
So I went up to Katrina’s shop to get my fortune read.
After talking about Katie, she told me I needed a unisex accessory. I tried putting on my Majora’s Mask, but it didn’t help.
Anyway, I decided to play around with the net glitch some more. I used it to get on top of Re-Tail…
…and the police station.
Later on, Patty invited me over to her town Columbus. The main room of her house has the ice set, just like mine. We watched a little TV.
Her path is made of gold bricks from Super Mario Bros. 3! Pretty cool. In SMB3, always loved the
We went out to the island and did a few tours, including the Easy Labyrinth Tour. I’m glad she chose the easy one, because I have trouble completing the regular one, let alone the “master” one.
We also caught some bugs and fish before returning to the mainland (and I went home soon after that). Back in my town, one of my villagers mentioned a guy on the beach. I’m glad they did, because I forgot to check down there today! Gulliver was there, and he is headed off to India. I’ll get a present from him in the mail tomorrow.
