I started my New Leaf day off with a dream visit to Breezy’s town Avenir. It’s a beautiful town where almost all of the villagers are bunnies. You can read all about it in Jeff’s Dream Suite Adventures.
After waking up from the dream, Big Top asked me to collect signatures for his petition, No More Crinkly Wrappers.
I noticed the northern lights up in the sky once again.
Crazy Redd was in town, so I took a chance on this gallant statue.
At the Dream Suite, Luna told me Tree from the town of Konoha was my most recent dream visitor.
I then started looking for a town to collect my signatures. Tiffiny was online, but I was unable to connect to her town once again. After posting on Twitter, I was able to find another option; Darian from Franklin helped me out. So I headed to his town, where a sign on the ground said “Don’t forget you’re here forever.” ***
He had the northern lights in his town too!
I started collecting signatures, but I also stopped in his classic police station to say hello to Booker.
After Velma scribbled her name down, the petition was complete!
The other five villagers who signed were Pinky, Curlos, Derwin, Axel, and Klaus.
But while I was in the town of Franklin, one of the villagers gave Darian a petition too! So I let him come over and get signatures in my town, too. But before I opened my gate, I returned Big Top’s petition. Would this be the day I finally get Big Top’s picture? False. He gave me an alpine lamp instead. 🙁
I then opened the gate and Darian started collecting the signatures he needed from my villagers. Aurora seemed to be hiding behind her harvest lamp.
But before long, he got all the signatures he needed and I ended the party.
UPDATE: I almost forgot to make my snowtyke! Fortunately, it wasn’t too late and I made him correctly. He should be sending me the final snowtyke item I need tomorrow.

***UPDATE: You can find the “Don’t forget: You’re here forever” QR code here.
I asked K.K. for a random song, and he performed Steep Hill for me. Then today, I searched and searched for Joan. Once I eventually found her, I bought 1,000 turnips from her at 110 bells apiece.
With that out of the way, I returned home to put my turnips in storage and check my mail. I received a letter from Gulliver in Peru, and he sent me this tapestry, which I put in my World Wonders exhibit at the museum.
Tom and I briefly visited each other’s towns to get our bingo cards stamped. After that, I was just about to water my flowers for the day, when it started snowing! Perfect timing! So I decided to build my daily snowperson. I needed to make a flawed snowmam, so I made her nice and ugly.
If all goes well, this will be the last snowperson I’ll be making flawed (at least on purpose). And the snowtyke I build tomorrow will hopefully be the last snowtyke I’ll need to make, since he should be giving me the last of his items.
Awesome! I quickly put it in my house.
It has his favorite quote on the back: “Be yourself–everyone else is already taken.”
The interesting thing is that Kidd moved into Forest on September 9th…four full months after Big Top. And now I have Kidd’s pic, while Big Top continues to hold out on me. I do like Kidd, though. He may not be a very popular villager, but he’s grown on me a lot and I think I want to keep him in town for a long time.
Then this morning, my Re-Tail was buying turnips for 115 bells apiece. Today is the last day to sell them, so I sold all that I had. I made a small profit on them this week.
When I worked at the Roost, Gracie came in for coffee. This was only the second time she’s visited the cafe.
When I went back outside, I got some very good news from Tabby: She’s moving out on January 16th! YESSSSS! Finally! Woohoooooo! I just have to remember not to speak to her if she pings me. (I wonder if me ignoring her sickness played any role in her decision).
Big Top invited me over to his house and I chose 4:00 as the time to meet him. By the time I remembered, it was 4:03. That’s not too bad, right? But I saw him outside my house instead of inside his own. At any rate, he apologized for not being home. So I’m hoping I’m not in any further trouble with the green elephant.
When I took my money from my turnip sales and put them in the bank, my account topped five million bells for the first time.
While I was on Main Street, I did my shopping run. When I walked into GracieGrace, I thought there was a bunny hood on sale for a moment. It turns out it was just Gabi’s head.
At the Emporium, I bought K.K. Ballad. I already had the song, but I’ve been meaning to try turning it into a music box. So I took it and a giant clam shell to Cyrus over at Re-Tail. As I was waiting for him to finish it, I purposely made a flawed snowboy.
Down on the beach, I found Gulliver. He was talking about a country that has lots of alpacas, and how he wanted to snuggle up to them and pet them over and over. (It was kind of creepy).
I was not sure of the country by the choices he gave me. I knew it wasn’t Mexico, but I took a guess among the other choices and I guessed correctly. He’s headed to Peru! After that, I returned to Re-Tail and I took home my K.K. ballad music
When I started the game up later on, I had a letter in the mail from the post office. They congratulated me for saving five million bells and they sent me this aluminum briefcase, filled with cash! Awesome!
It’s Saturday, so that means K.K. will be performing at Club LOL tonight. Hopefully I’ll remember to check him out later.
