I’m trying to get all of the snowtyke items, and some of them require that your other snowpeople are made imperfectly. So today, I built a snowman and I made sure I screwed him up badly. He was speechless at first.
But then his anger came out.
He criticized me (that’s another fault of his) and then he started lecturing me! He should feel lucky to be alive at all! Mr. Snowman needs to learn some snowmanners.
Anyway, I got my jolly painting in the mail from Crazy Redd. I took it to Blathers at the museum, but there wasn’t an option to donate it. That’s because I already had a jolly painting in the museum, I had just forgotten to mark it off my list. Oops. When I went to Re-Tail, Reese told me it was a fake anyway. Oh well.
As I left Re-Tail, I saw Big Top nearby and I spoke with him. He asked to play a game of hide-and-seek, and I agreed to give it a try. I had 15 minutes to find him, Teddy, and Molly.
Whenever I have that much time, I don’t need to rush. I watered my flowers as I walked around town. I found Big Top pretty quickly, and Molly not long after that. But I completed my walk around town and still hadn’t found Teddy, so I went down to the beach. There he was, hiding behind a banana tree.
I won the game, and Big Top rewarded me with a giraffe ruler.
I found a lost item, but it belonged to the first animal I asked about it: Molly. She gave me a vaulting horse to thank me.
I went to Tom’s town to take him the snowman matryoshka I had for him. He also let me catalog his crown, which I tried on briefly.
We went up to Club LOL and danced for a few minutes. Angus was in there, shaking his royal rump roast. As for King Tom, he looked a bit constipated…
Tom ended the party and I was about done for the day. But I made sure to check the Dream Suite, where Luna told me that Emma from Winter was my most recent dream visitor.

And here they are by my snow family.
Crazy Redd was in town once again today. He had a basic painting for sale, but it looked the same as the fake one I bought recently. Two of the other three paintings were ones I already had in the museum, so my buying decision was easy. I sprung for this jolly painting.
I often customize the furniture I get from animals or at the store. I end up giving them to villagers when they ask for furniture. Here is a customized polka-dot clock I picked up today.
Over by my central bridge, I stopped to snap another picture of the Northern Lights overhead.
When I went up to Main Street, Luna told me that Kyle from Delta was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Emporium, I had ACCF flashbacks when I saw Gabi and a classic buffet. Nice table.
Back in town, I was having serious trouble locating snowballs to build a snowman. Once, a dung beetle had it on the edge of a cliff and there was no way to save it. Another time, it was on the edge of the river and fell in. Another one smashed into a tree and shattered as soon as I got to it.
She wouldn’t even mention snowflakes, so I’m hoping she’s made poorly enough that the snowtyke won’t give me credit for her.
I’m not sure if I would want this in my town or not. At any rate, it doesn’t seem worth the hefty price tag (538,000 bells).
That wrapped up my (late) night in Forest, but I have two other things to share with you. One is a QR code for a Star Trek Starfleet uniform submitted by Roman. If you’re interested, check it out on the
Tom had a bingo number that I needed, so he invited me over to come get it. Bingo!
The snowman gave me a lift chair, and I tried it out when I returned to Forest.
Even though it appears to be hanging down from the ceiling, you can adjust the camera and see that it’s not actually connected to anything. It just hovers there. Anyway, Big Top came over to visit. He saw my ice vanity and assumed that meant I must wear make-up. Uh, what?
After he left, I headed up to the Dream Suite. My most recent dream visitor was Kate from Oakhaven, but that’s not why I came here. It was time to go on a dream suite adventure! I headed off to a dream town based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time!
It’s a really cool town that Zelda fans will really enjoy. For more info and pictures, as well as the dream address, check out my
And then he uttered this classic line: Fashion be crazy, quackers.
When I went back outside, Teddy suggested a fire pit as a public works project.
It would be a great project for winter, and it’s affordable too.
I spoke with Teddy again, and he told me Tammy was kind of aimless. That’s what I’ve been trying to tell everyone!
And last but not least, I rolled up two snowballs to make a snowtyke. But the little guy told me his family was perfect! No they’re not!
So I’m guessing this means I’m going to get another snowman matryoshka, when I was hoping for a different prize. My snowboy and snowmam were definitely flawed, so you may have to really mess them up badly to get the other items from Snowtyke.
