As expected, Gulliver sent me a model of Big Ben in the mail today.
And by request, here is the QR code of my current frosty ice brick path, with the slightly rounded corners. It’s also been added to the QR Codes section.
It was snowing in Forest tonight, and Molly thought it was magical. It’s hard to argue with that.
I made a trip up to Main Street, and in the Dream Suite, Luna told me Halle from 26 Land was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Happy Homes Showcase, I had a StreetPass home of someone who had this customized trunk with the Union Jack on it. I wonder if they recently visited the United Kingdom.
Back in town, Rolf asked me for a blowfish. It didn’t take me long once I got to the ocean; I caught one on just my second try! Rolf thanked me and gave me a frog shirt as my reward.
Since it’s been snowing a lot, and I think it will continue like this for a while, I’ve decided to switch back to the Night Owl ordinance. This will give me a chance to do some shopping more often. At the regular hours, the shops are often closed before I get up there. The ordinance will go into effect tomorrow. I just need to remember to start watering my flowers again, on the days that it doesn’t snow.
For those of you that play Tomodachi Life, I just wanted to let you know that I recently made a Mii of the Animal Crossing Villager. If you’d like to see him (or add him to your Tomodachi Life game), check out this Tomodachi Life blog entry.
Not much else happened tonight. But it’s nice to just relax, watch the snow fall, and enjoy a silent night every once in a while. I’ll see you all next time.
Resetti seemed to think that I was interested in his line of work. No, I don’t want to harass people who are just playing a game.
But then he said I couldn’t do it anyway…because I’m not a mole! How rude!
But he got back on my good side by giving me his picture!
I returned home to take a look at it. Resetti’s favorite quote is “Earthquakes, thunder, fires, and fathers.” I’m wondering if that’s a list of excuses he hears from people who “accidentally” reset their games.
Back outside, I noticed that some of the cedar/pine trees now have Christmas lights on them.
Unfortunately, none of the decorated trees in my town were very close together. So to get a picture with two lighted trees, I had to cross the river and press up on the control pad to see them both.
I found the daily snowballs and pushed them together to make a perfect snowmam. Even though I may build some bingo snowmen at some point soon, the snowmams will be my focus. It provides the best opportunity for making money.
A bit later, the northern lights started appearing in the sky over Forest.
I stopped at the Dream Suite to update my dream town, and Luna told me that Grace from Aquoise was my most recent dream visitor. I then returned to town and enjoyed the northern lights from several different locations.
Down on the beach, I woke up an unconscious Gulliver. He told me he was headed to the home of Big Ben, so I knew he was headed to London, England. He’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.
Before wrapping up my game for the night, I took one last picture of the northern lights from the beach.
I’ll see you all next time!
When I found Joan, she was selling turnips for 109 bells each. I believe that’s the maximum amount she can charge…ouch. So much for a holiday discount. I bought 3,000 turnips from her.
The Able Sisters finally had a Santa hat on sale, so I bought it to complete my Santa suit.
Rolf asked me for an ocean fish, so I went down to the sea to find him a fishy. I caught an olive flounder…good enough. I took it back to him and he rewarded me with a tropical tank! We’re in the middle of a blizzard, dude, I can’t wear this! You have a fur coat, so you could get away with it, but I can’t!
I noticed I hadn’t seen much of Kabuki lately, so I went to see what was up with him. Turns out that he’s sick! Fortunately, the shop was still open, so I bought some medicine for him. Get well soon!
