Winter is Winding Down

I dug up a fossil near my cliff today. You can’t exactly see it, but trust me, it’s there.

Look! I dug up a fossil!Even though my perfect snowmam was still alive today (barely), I built another one to take me through the rest of winter. In other words, tomorrow. The snow will be gone on Wednesday, so this will be my last snowperson for at least nine months or so.

Snowmam: This balance... I'm perfect! For the first time in a while, there was an igloo at the campsite. Unless there’s another one tomorrow (unlikely, but possible), this will be the last igloo of the season.

The last igloo of winter.Caroline the red squirrel was inside. She already camped here in an igloo justĀ last month!

Caroline: I love hearing the crackle of a fire at a winter campground. There's something so magical about it.When I went up to Main Street later on, I saw the northern lights up in the sky.

The Northern Lights on Main Street.Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Samantha from Aberdeen.

Even though it was quite late by this point, Kabuki acted like he was just getting started for the day.

Kabuki: I guess ME TIME is about to start. Good! GAHAHA! Tiger!I went down to the beach and took another picture of the northern lights. I took a good look, because this might be the last time for a while.

Northern lights on the beach.I found Gulliver on the beach, and he was talking about kimchi and Tae Kwon Do. That meant he’s headed to South Korea, and he’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.

Gulliver: ...Do you doubt me? KICK!I’ll see you all next time!

Pisces Lamp DLC

This morning, I tracked down Joan to buy some turnips from her. She was selling them for 104 bells each, and I bought 3,100 of them.

Joan: The asking price is 104 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo? As I finished putting them into storage, Rolf barged into my house.

Rolf: I know this is a bit sudden, but I got the urge to hang out with you for a while! So deal with it!Deal with it? That’s pretty rude. I didn’t even speak to Rolf; I just saved and quit my game. Deal with that.

I returned to the game this evening. After making my rounds, I went up to the post office to check for new DLC. And indeed, the Pisces lamp is now available in America. (Some parts of the world received this item last year).

Pelly: Sorry to keep you waiting! I hope you enjoy your new Pisces lamp!It can be ordered from the catalog for 4,800 bells.

Pisces lamp - 4,800 bells.I thought it would look good in my ice room. The fish on top looks icy when the lamp is turned on. Pretty cool!

The Pisces lamp, turned on.I then wrapped up my day with a trip to the Dream Suite to update my dream town. While I was there, Luna told me that Elliot from Turvy was my most recent dream visitor.

Sprinkle’s Birthday

Outside of the Roost, Dizzy was telling me that Big Top has ticklish feet. I was afraid to ask how he discovered that fact.

Dizzy: Not to be a big old gossip, but I heard that Big Top has really ticklish feet!Today is Sprinkle’s birthday, so I made sure to visit her to wish her a happy birthday. She was glad to see I remembered.

Sprinkle: I'm so happy you're here just to celebrate little ol' ME! I feel like the most special gal in town! But it didn’t her long to get to the point: She wanted a gift!

Sprinkle: So...not to be rude or anything, but did you happen to bring me a gift?I gave her a customized stripe bathroom sink, and she seemed to enjoy it. I also had a chat with Agent S, and she was being a bit selfish. She wished it was her birthday instead.

Agent S: I wish it was MY birthday! I'm glad it's Sprinkle's special day, but I'm totally bummed out!Outside, I found both snowballs very close to each other near the town tree. So I put them together to make another snowmam.

Snowmam: If you bring me 3 snowflakes, I shall give you a reward worthy of your efforts.I also did a little ocean fishing. I was hoping to find a coelacanth since it was snowing, but no such luck. However, I did catch a nice tuna.

I caught a tuna! And now it's stuck in my head!
