Transformation Thursday

It’s February 25th, and that means spring is here! Well, sort of. But at least the snow on the ground has all melted away and the grass is green again. Quite the transformation that has happened overnight. I also made sure to change my path from ice bricks to green bricks.

Green grass and a green brick path. After returning an item to Daisy from Pashmina, Daisy told me she had already replaced the item so she didn’t need it. She offered to sell it to me for 97 bells, so I bought it. It turned out to be a blue tie-dye tee. I went ahead and put it on. It’s spring now, so I don’t need long sleeves, right?

Wearing a blue tie-dye tee that Daisy gave me.A snowmam that I built yesterday wasn’t enjoying the weather. It felt hot to her, and she just wanted a glass of iced tea. Interestingly enough though, she won’t melt any quicker in the warmer temperatures than she would have in winter.

Snowmam: It's hot! I'd love an ice-cold iced tea right now.
Get this woman some iced tea! Stat!

This evening, I did some fishing and diving. I was trying to lure Phineas out to give me some badges, but no such luck.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Nisno from Partom C was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!

Winter is Winding Down

On Sunday night, I saw the northern lights up in the sky. That might be the last time I see them this winter.

Northern lights above Forest.Yesterday, I took a dream adventure to the farming and nursery rhyme town of Farmland (dream address 4400-3561-6512). I have a full write-up and over 20 pictures at that link, but here are a couple of bonus pictures:

Vegetables growing in Farmland.Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep. (Farmland)Tonight, while I was walking around south of the river, I saw a snowball get pushed into the river! At first, I was wondering which of my clumsy villagers bumped into it, but then I realized it was probably just a dung beetle.

A snow ball got pushed into the river.Agent S asked me for an ocean fish, so I went down to the sea to do some fishing.  I was planning on just catching one fish and giving her that, but things changed when I caught a tuna. That’s too valuable to give away! So I tried for another fish…and I caught another tuna! What are the odds?

I caught a tuna! And now it's stuck in my head. The third fish I caught was a red snapper…still too valuable for a fish request. I tried a fourth time, and I caught a sea bass. Perfect.

I found a lost mitten on the ground, and I eventually reunited it with its owner, Dizzy. As if an elephant’s mitten would look identical to a duck’s mitten. But he was glad to get it back, and he gave me a robo-lamp for my trouble.

Dizzy: This is definitely my mitten. Now I won't have to wander around with one cold hand!
Maybe you need the lamp yourself; it’s dark in here!

Molly asked me to take a short quiz, and she concluded that I needed to take up boogie boarding.

Molly: Dedicate yourself to the art of boogie boarding!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Hugh from Haroldon.

Believe it or not, tomorrow is the last day of having snow on the ground! Are you glad or sad? I’m kind of neutral towards it, although I will miss my snowflake money-making routine.

Thanks for stopping by, and remember to check out Farmland if you haven’t already!

Velma’s TV Show

Big Top sent me a No. 1 shirt in the mail recently, so I decided to put it on. This isn’t a shirt I normally wear on a regular basis–or at all. But it’s good to change your clothes once in a while. 😉

Jeff wearing the No. 1 shirt.Last night, Velma told me that she used to be on a TV show. Yeah, Scooby-Doo, right? But she actually said the show was called Forest Town Kids Sing and Shout Cabaret Hour. Yikes.

Velma: I was on a TV show called Forest Town Kids Sing and Shout Cabaret Hour.
Did you play the kazoo?

I went diving and caught a scallop; that brought Pascal to the surface. After I gave him the scallop, he started talking about how sharks don’t give a…care.

Pascal: Did you know that sharks don't care? Seriously, ask them anything. Man, they don't care.Tonight, Saharah was in town. I hired her to put in some new wallpaper and carpeting, and she gave me this groovy wall and kiddie carpet.

Groovy wall and kiddie carpet in my house.Aurora told me that she was planning on moving out of town on February 24th. Hmm, that’s the last day there will be snow on the ground and she’s a penguin. Coincidence? Well, too bad. I’m not letting her leave.

Aurora: It may seem sudden, but I'm moving away on the 24th.My recent dream visitors have been Emmy from Oberlin and Alex from V Nation.

I hope you’re all having a good weekend! I’ll see you next time!
