As expected, Dizzy was all packed up and ready to move out of town today. I went in to say goodbye and to wish him luck.
Instead of a money rock today, I had a gem rock that spit out eight pieces of ore. That’s something I don’t normally mention in the blog, but it’s notable this time because I believe this is the 4th time I’ve had one in the past ten days or so! I’m running out of space to keep all these gems around, since I can only trick my villagers into buying a few of them a day (at 7,999 bells apiece).
So if you visit my dream town anytime soon, please excuse the colorful crystal clutter around two of my rocks and outside of Re-Tail. Hopefully I’ll have them cleaned up in a few days.
Beth came over to adopt Dizzy, so the elephant will soon be a resident of Otaku. I hope you enjoy having Dizzy, Beth! And good luck in your new town, Dizzy! Even though I don’t think Dizzy reads this blog. π
I made a short visit to Otaku myself, and I really like the paths and tiles on the ground here.
I explored her town a bit, and I stopped at the Roost for some coffee…which I drank in front of Beth to make her jealous. π
I then returned home and used the Dream Suite. Luna told me that Xavier from Quigley was my most recent dream visitor. Pacey from Dog Town also visited recently.
Next, I took a trip out to the island. I caught 150,000 bells worth of bugs before returning home and ending my game for the night. Thank you all for stopping by, and I hope you have a great weekend!
Daisy told me that she had a dream about a mantis. Sounds more like a nightmare! I hope you said your prayers before going to bed! π
Daisy wasn’t the only one with an eye on the bugs in my pockets. Today, Aurora told me she was painting a picture of a common butterfly…but she didn’t know what one looked like! But they’re all over town!
This evening, I came out of the museum (after having Blathers identify some fossils) and I was surprised by how red the sky was!

Dizzy has not changed his mind about moving, so he should be all packed up tomorrow. I’m planning on letting Beth adopt him, and Elliott will be the alternate if Beth can’t get him for any reason. So I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow–see you then!
Believe it or not, I’m actually letting him go. I like Dizzy, but he’s not someone I intended to keep forever. And he’s been here for a while, moving in on
Nah, that was just Saharah the carpet-selling camel. I hired her to put in some new wallpaper and carpeting, and she decided on this classic carpet and exotic wall.
I found a lost item (a book) on the ramp going down to the beach, so I started asking my villagers about it. After a few minutes, I reunited the book with its owner, Agent S. But I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me: I was seeing two nets and I felt a bit Dizzy.
She gave me a kiddie couch to thank me for returning the book.
