Dizzy Packs His Trunk

As expected, Dizzy was all packed up and ready to move out of town today. I went in to say goodbye and to wish him luck.

Dizzy: I finally made up my mind! I'm moving out of this town!Instead of a money rock today, I had a gem rock that spit out eight pieces of ore. That’s something I don’t normally mention in the blog, but it’s notable this time because I believe this is the 4th time I’ve had one in the past ten days or so! I’m running out of space to keep all these gems around, since I can only trick my villagers into buying a few of them a day (at 7,999 bells apiece).

Gem rock jackpot! So if you visit my dream town anytime soon, please excuse the colorful crystal clutter around two of my rocks and outside of Re-Tail. Hopefully I’ll have them cleaned up in a few days.

Beth came over to adopt Dizzy, so the elephant will soon be a resident of Otaku. I hope you enjoy having Dizzy, Beth! And good luck in your new town, Dizzy! Even though I don’t think Dizzy reads this blog. πŸ˜›

Dizzy: I'm moving to Otaku!I made a short visit to Otaku myself, and I really like the paths and tiles on the ground here.

Outside the Otaku train station.I explored her town a bit, and I stopped at the Roost for some coffee…which I drank in front of Beth to make her jealous. πŸ˜›

Drinking coffee in Beth's town of Otaku.I then returned home and used the Dream Suite. Luna told me that Xavier from Quigley was my most recent dream visitor. Pacey from Dog Town also visited recently.

Next, I took a trip out to the island. I caught 150,000 bells worth of bugs before returning home and ending my game for the night. Thank you all for stopping by, and I hope you have a great weekend!

They Want My Bugs

On Tuesday, I finally had a camper (now that I’m able to invite campers to move in). However, it was Clyde the horse. He’s not my mane man or anything, so I had to say neigh nay.

Clyde: I'm here camping in town, so you'll be seeing me around for a bit!Daisy told me that she had a dream about a mantis. Sounds more like a nightmare! I hope you said your prayers before going to bed! πŸ˜›

Daisy: I keep having this dream about a mantis.Daisy wasn’t the only one with an eye on the bugs in my pockets. Today, Aurora told me she was painting a picture of a common butterfly…but she didn’t know what one looked like! But they’re all over town!

Aurora: I'm not really sure what a common butterfly looks like. I'm painting without a reference. This evening, I came out of the museum (after having Blathers identify some fossils) and I was surprised by how red the sky was!

A red sky above the museum. My bank account balance reached 67 million bells today…and that was before I went out to the island tonight and caught another 140,000 bells worth of bugs. As for the bugs I catch that aren’t worth very much, theyΒ  go to Leila.

Give what?

When I visited Peck, he swore that he wasn’t hiding anything…as he was hiding his face (and his whole body really) behind some furniture!

Peck: I swear! I'm not hiding anything! Ha ha ha!Dizzy has not changed his mind about moving, so he should be all packed up tomorrow. I’m planning on letting Beth adopt him, and Elliott will be the alternate if Beth can’t get him for any reason. So I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow–see you then!

Reducing Dizziness

Today, Dizzy told me that he was going to move out of town on April 15th. Probably for tax purposes.

Dizzy: I know it's sudden, but I'm leaving on the 15th of this month! It's been nice hanging with you, skippy!Believe it or not, I’m actually letting him go. I like Dizzy, but he’s not someone I intended to keep forever. And he’s been here for a while, moving in on January 15th of last year. So it may be time for him to pack his trunk. However, I’m not going to avoid him if he pings me. If he changes his mind and decides to stay, I’m completely fine with that.

Over by the river, I caught a really big common butterfly!

I caught a common butterfly! How could I resist?Nah, that was just Saharah the carpet-selling camel. I hired her to put in some new wallpaper and carpeting, and she decided on this classic carpet and exotic wall.

A classic carpet and an exotic wall.I found a lost item (a book) on the ramp going down to the beach, so I started asking my villagers about it. After a few minutes, I reunited the book with its owner, Agent S. But I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me: I was seeing two nets and I felt a bit Dizzy.

Agent S: What?! I look everywhere for this book! She gave me a kiddie couch to thank me for returning the book.

I made a trip out to the island for some bug-catching. I also caught a few sharks too, but I tend to focus on the bugs while I’m out there. Once I was done, I returned to Forest. Apparently, I didn’t catch enough to trigger Pascal, but I did hit a beastly milestone after selling my catches: I’m two-thirds of the way to the gold bell-saver badge.

Your current balance is 66,666,666 bells.

My recent dream visitors have been Paige from Acrewood, Dakota B from La Luna, and Lokki from Akirai. Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you next time!
