The other night, Bob told he was out hunting…for a men’s toilet!
I had one in my pocket, and Bob offered me 400 bells for it. I agreed to the trade, just to be nice. And it helps my cash flow.
Today, I noticed that the grass and trees in town are now a different shade of green.

Rolf approached me and gave me a new shirt, the cloudy tee.
I decided to put it on and wear it, at least for a day or so. Hey, I match the sky!
There was a tent at the campsite, so I went inside to see who was visiting. Caroline the red squirrel was the camper inside. I showed her my shirt, and her eyes nearly popped out of her head!
Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Dragon from Pooville. 😛
Just passing on a little Animal Crossing news: It’s been reported that the Animal Crossing app, which was supposed to be released this autumn, has been delayed to 2017. It should now be out by the end of March. I’m hoping this won’t push back the release of the New Leaf update that’s supposed to come out this fall, but who knows. I guess we’ll find out for sure when Nintendo posts their Animal Crossing mini-Direct video in a couple of months.
Anyway, Friday Night Forest is tomorrow! Anyone on my roster is free to drop by, and I’ll be opening about 10 p.m. Eastern time (7 p.m. Pacific time). As I’ve mentioned before, I have something planned that I’m bringing back from ACCF. It’s not a major project like my match race or Megan’s shell game, but it is something that should make Friday Night Forest a tad more playful and fun. 😉 So be sure to check for the blog entry late tomorrow night!
Here you can take a closer look at the picnic basket, as seen on my fireplace.
That reminds me that I need to redecorate that sleek furniture room with a new theme. I have something in mind, but it probably won’t be done anytime soon.
I went around asking my villagers about the lost item. I couldn’t find Molly or Bob, but I asked everyone else. Or at least I thought I did.
I tried displaying a dorado I caught in the river earlier, and it poked through the faceboard somehow. Maybe I can stand here and cook it.
I returned the completed petition to Pashmina, and she thanked me by giving me a rococo chair.
Then, I knew I had to track down Bob and Molly to return the lost book. I figured they must be on Main Street, and indeed they were. Molly was in the Emporium, but the book wasn’t hers. So I searched the museum for Bob, and eventually I found him in the art gallery. Surprisingly, the item wasn’t his either!
I’ve been ordering a few items for next week’s Friday Night Forest, and I was starting to run out of storage space for them. But then I realized, I had some gold roses in there. So I moved them down to my beach, where they’ll be safe, and out of the way.
Beth made a short visit to town so that I could drop an item off at her other town of Arrested. While there, I helped pull some weeds and dig up some buried fossils before she kicked me out.
I returned to the beach to wake up Gulliver, and he told me he was headed to an island that was known for giant heads carved out of rocks. That is Easter Island, and Gulliver will be sending me a Moai statue from there tomorrow.
And in my central park, I found Pashmina resting on my town’s metal bench. I let her sleep, just to be nice for a change.
