Jeff the Shark?

Hornsby asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek tonight, and I agreed to play. Hornsby then told me to take it easy on him, because I have a reputation as being a real shark?

Hornsby: You have a reputation as being a real shark, J-bot, so take it easy on me, OK?
Sharks don’t take it easy on anyone.

I had 15 minutes to find Hornsby, Molly, and Agent S. In under a minute, I found Molly trying to hide behind Rolf’s house.

I see your head, Molly. You should have…ducked.

A couple minutes later, I found Agent S behind town hall. She said she’d hide better next time, in a tree.

Agent S: Well, good for you. I guess I'll just hide way better next time, in a tree.
Well now I know where to look for you!

And still with 11 minutes and 30 seconds remaining on the timer, I found Hornsby hiding behind a tree near my house. I guess I didn’t take it easy on him after all.

He gave me a pop-up book for winning the game.

Gulliver was down on the beach, talking about the Cossack dance and matryoshka dolls. He was clearly headed to Russia.

Gulliver: ...Russia!
He’ll soon be rushin’ off to his destination.

At Club LOL, Peck was apparently taking a break from shopping (for the holidays?).

Peck: Heya, Jeff! I'm pumped about shopping today!

Speaking of shopping… If you’re looking for a gift idea, how about an Animal Crossing sticker book?

K.K. Slider performed Agent K.K. for me, Peck, and Kabuki.

My recent dream visitors include Kathryn from Mazeland, Donni from Village, and Sammy from Kalos. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Claudia the Mail Thief

Yesterday (November 22nd) was Claudia’s birthday, and I attended her party. I’m not a fan of Claudia, so I decided to give her a skinny mushroom as her birthday present. But I guess the joke was on me, because she loved it!

Claudia: Mmm. You know the way to my heart. This looks delicious. Thank you, Tiny J!

Interestingly, she said she would cherish it forever, or at least until her next birthday. But if she’s going to eat it, then how would it still be with her by next year? Maybe I don’t want to know.

Claudia: I'll cherish this gift forever and ever. Or at least until my next birthday, in igloos!

Molly was also at the party. Maybe she felt sorry for Claudia.

Molly: I'm glad you came to celebrate with us! When it comes to parties, it's certainly the more the merrier.

Today, Aurora told me she keeps having dreams about a mummy’s casket! Sounds like a nightmare!

Aurora: I keep having this dream about a mummy's casket.

But she was just wanting to buy mine; she gave me 1,320 bells for it.

Claudia told me a package meant for Hornsby was delivered to her house instead. So naturally, she expected me to solve her problem.

Claudia: I can't keep it! Everyone will say I took it from Hornsby's mailbox! You KNOW how people talk!
Hey, everybody! Claudia stole from Hornsby’s mailbox!

I took the package over to Hornsby, and there was a Papa panda inside.

Hornsby: It's a Papa panda!

He said he ordered it to give it to me, and he mentioned what a big coincidence it was that I brought it to him. But of course, this situation occurs far too often for me to believe it’s just a coincidence. 😛

When I spoke with Lolly, she told me she has wanted a Papa panda for a very long time.

Lolly: You may not know, but I've wanted a Papa panda for a very, very long time.

She paid me 864 bells for it.

Lolly also mentioned that she was carrying around a fishing rod so that she could catch fish in 5 years! Now that’s what I call being prepared! 😂

Lolly: I'm carrying around my fishing rod so I can catch fish, in 5 years. Why else would I have one?

At Re-Tail, Rolf bought that genie’s lamp that Claudia was selling last week. Wait until he finds out there are no wishes left. 😛

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Jake from Florida, Toad from Maryland, Logan from Farbourn, and Betsy from Hotwheel. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Podium Predictors

Today, I found an old genie’s lamp for sale at Re-Tail.

As if I would buy that! She probably used up the three wishes already, and that’s why she’s selling it. Or maybe it never granted any wishes to begin with. Claudia still looks like Claudia, so I’m guessing there’s no real genie inside.

Big Top told me he was nervous about the awards ceremony, to which I replied (in my head), “What ceremony?”

Big Top: Man, I'm so nervous about the awards ceremony!

Apparently, there was a fishing tournament today. I didn’t even realize it. 😛 But I talked to more villagers… Both Vivian and Claudia told me they were expecting to win.

Vivian: Blue or red? Oh, I'm just wondering what color to wear when I take first place at the awards ceremony.
Claudia: Will it be awkward if I give an acceptance speech after winning first place in the tournament?

When I visited Lolly, she told me her latest obsession was sleeping in the space between the bed and the wall. That sounded a bit weird, but cats do sleep in some strange places/positions sometimes.

Lolly: My latest obsession is sleeping in the space between the bed and the wall.

I then entered Chip’s tent to attend the fishing tournament winners’ ceremony. Interestingly, all three villagers who spoke with me about the tournament were up on the podium! Big Top finished in 3rd place, Claudia was in 2nd, and Vivian was the overall winner.

At Club LOL, K.K. Slider performed K.K. Mambo. Kabuki was also in attendance, so I chatted with him briefly.

Kabuki: Confession time: I came by because I was missing Forest. Isn't that just like me?

As I returned to town after the show, I saw a train go by.

A train goes by in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

I stopped over Lolly’s house again, and she gave me a mummy’s casket for free. Even the body inside of it was all wrapped up. Thanks, Lolly!

Lolly: Oh! Chap! I seem to recall you saying you wanted a mummy's casket!

My latest dream visitors include Alex from Tokyo, Francois from Alderman, and Katie from Elenwood. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good night (or day)!
