Gobble Time

On Tuesday, Rolf asked me for a river fish. I caught a goldfish for him, and he seemed to appreciate it. He gave me a work shirt in return.

Rolf: Oh, right. I need to thank you! Please take my fancy work shirt!
It’s really not fancy, but thanks.

Boots asked me for some fruit today, so I handed him a perfect peach. But by the look on his face, I was almost afraid that he was going to eat me!

Boots: Gobble time in 3...2...1...

But fortunately, the hungry gator just ate the peach. He thanked me by giving me a cheese wall. Hmm, why couldn’t he just eat that? 😛

There an igloo set up at the campsite, and Pompom the duck was inside. She was excited to experience a Forest winter.

Pompom: Hi there! I'm so excited to experience one of Forest's famous winters!

I don’t share that same enthusiasm for winter. I’m already looking forward to spring. By the way, the snow melts one month from today (on February 25th)! 🙂

I found two snowballs near the geyser today, so I decided to put them together. I was trying to make a perfect snowmam…and I actually succeeded! I didn’t catch any snowflakes recently, but she’ll be around for a few days in case I need to trade some in.

Snowmam: I'm PERFECT!

Speaking of snowballs, I just posted a video today of me having some fun with snowballs in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Check it out if you’re interested.

Up at Club LOL, K.K. Slider performed Rockin’ K.K. for me, Velma, and Big Top.

K.K.: Enough tuning--let's groove. This next one is for you, Jeff. It's called Rockin' K.K.

My recent dream visitors include Kinya from Yoghurt, Nick from Kanto, and Ivy from Leafclan. Hornsby also mentioned Teren from DalyCity. Thank you all for stopping by, and have a great night!

Aurora & Aurora

On Wednesday night, Vivian informed me that we haven’t spoken in two weeks! Oops! That certainly wasn’t intentional, but I admittedly haven’t been playing as much New Leaf lately.

Vivian: Oh, we're on speaking terms again, I see? It's been 2 weeks. So I just assumed we were in a fight.

The fishing tournament was held today, and Aurora was the winner, with a 6.45 inch pond smelt. Molly finished in 2nd place, and Vivian was 3rd. Congrats to all the winners! (As usual, I didn’t participate.)

Chip, announcing the fishing tournament winner: Aurora!

That was a great performance by Aurora, but she wasn’t the only aurora in town tonight… I spotted the northern lights in the sky, so I stopped to take a picture from the dock.

They also looked good from outside of Hornsby’s house.

Tom (the cat) was hanging out at Club LOL, and he said he was missing Forest. K.K. Slider performed K.K. Country for me, Tom, and Hippeux.

Tom: Confession time: I came by because I was missing Forest. Isn't that just like me?

My recent dream visitors include Robyn from Yumeri, Brandon from Coolvill, and Peppone from Oldstone. Thank you all for stopping by, and have a great weekend! 🙂

Diving with Merka

Lolly told me that her plan for the new year included spending a lot of time with me. Aww, how sweet.

Lolly: It's good to come up with a plan for the year. My plan includes spending a lot of time with you, chap!

She then offered me her skeleton. I guess that’s one way to spend time together, with her skeleton in my pockets.

Lolly: Yay! I was hoping you'd agree, so I brought my skeleton with me.

Later on, Lolly informed me that I have a new reputation: She said I’m a pro listener. I’m okay with that.

Lolly: I hear you're a bit of a pro listener, chap.

Today, I decided to finally dig up the bamboo I had in town. It’s too much of a pain to keep digging up the new bamboo shoots that spread all over.

Jeff digs up the bamboo in his Animal Crossing: New Leaf town of Forest.

Rolf told me he was looking to replace his green net. That confused me for a second, because he was actually holding a net…a bug net. But he was talking about a furniture item, not a bug net. 🐞

Rolf: I'm thinking about redecorating my room, and I want to replace my green net. Definitely.

A single-space item was too small, but Harvey had some cornstalks for sale. Rolf was happy with the cornstalks, and he gave me a lawn mower in return.

After depositing some bells at the post office, my account balance reached 116 million bells.

Lolly asked me for an orange, so I checked my storage to see if I had any perfect oranges I could give her. Unfortunately, I was all out. But I saw that Merka was online, and she said she had some perfect oranges I could have. So I opened my gate, and she came over.

Jeff, to Merka: No, are you eating a leaf?

I gave her some perfect peaches in exchange for the oranges. I took an orange back to Lolly, and she loved it! She gave me a basketball hoop in return–definitely not what I was hoping for.

Merka hung out for a bit, and I offered her a sip of my sparkling cider that was left over from New Year’s Eve.

Merka enjoys some sparkling cider in ACNL.

She said it tasted good with the leaf in her mouth. 😂

We went swimming and diving, and she caught some new creatures. As for me, I caught crabs.

After we had some coffee, she needed some lunch. So I ended the party. But it was good to see her again after all this time!

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Kahlium from Twinleaf, Ebony from Duggee, Aurora from Oakwood, and Nick from Kanto. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Never Stop Crossing!
