Magic Workout Dust

I checked out K.K. Slider’s Saturday night performance at Club LOL tonight. He played Mountain Song for me, Elise, and Peck.

After the show, I found a lost item (a bag) near the river and waterfall.

I picked up a lost item!

Half of my villagers were already asleep, but I asked around anyway, just in case. Fortunately, Boots told me the bag was his. He said his “magic workout dust” was inside!

Boots: Oh, man. My magic workout dust! I need to be more careful...
Sounds legit.

He thanked me for returning it, and he gave me a tin shirt.

Molly pinged me and told me that she was planning on moving out of town on April 7th. Sorry little ducky, but you’re not going anywhere!

Molly: That's it! I'm taking charge of my life! I'm moving someplace new on the 7th of next month!

Luna informed me that my most recent dream visitor was Zoe from Cape Joy. Thanks for stopping by!

Shamrock Day 2020

Some items I ordered came in today, including a scoreboard and a 2nd football helmet. So this is what my football room looks like now.

Jeff's football themed room, with two mannequin football players and a scoreboard.

I should probably get a sporty wall to go with it, but it’s a Saharah exclusive and can’t be ordered from the catalog. Well at least I ordered some cleats for the two players today.

Anyway, today is Shamrock Day (also known as St. Patrick’s Day). My villagers were talking about the event, and Big Top appreciated the color green (not surprisingly). 😉

Big Top: It's Shamrock Day today! Green is one of my favorite colors, so it's the perfect holiday for me!

At the event plaza, Isabelle was handing out shamrock hats for the occasion.

Jeff puts on the shamrock hat from Isabelle in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

There was also a face-cutout standee there, so I stuck my face through it. Well, maybe it was just my eyes.

Are you feeling lucky?

I shot down two balloon presents, including one that was right on the north edge of town. Balloon presents won’t fly here in City Folk.

Jeff shoots down a balloon present next to the bulletin board and train tracks.

This one had a balloon sofa inside, and the other one I shot down contained a balloon floor.

I cleaned up my town a bit more, removing more scattered flowers. I’ve also been lining the north and northwest edges of town with flowers: purple violets to the west and red roses to the east.

A line of purple violets next to Re-Tail in ACNL.

Not only do I think they look nice, but they can (potentially) breed some others I wouldn’t mind having. Specifically, blue violets (which I can use as replacements around my fountain), and black roses (which I can eventually turn gold to replace any gold roses that get killed accidentally).

Luna informed me that my recent dream visitors included Tom from Sasene and Zed from Smash. Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Cleaning 2020

Last Sunday, I tracked down Lolly and got her to change her mind about moving.

Lolly: This time of year always makes me think of fresh starts.

There was a meteor shower that night, so I wished on a few shooting stars.

Jeff wishes on a shooting star in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Over by the zen bell, Agent S told me she was wearing a police dog! 😀

Agent S: Woohoo! I'm wearing an actual Police dog, can you believe it? Yes, YOUR design!
Did you cop it from Able Sisters?

Tonight, I headed over to Shampoodle and made my annual transformation into Mohawk McClover. Happy early St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️

The Gaming Otter recently visited my dream town and made a video of his reaction. Check it out!

Seeing my town through someone else’s eyes really opened up my own eyes. I was a bit embarrassed at how one room of my house was left unfinished. At one point, I had a ton of Halloween masks in here. I eventually cleaned them up and started to make a football room, but I never really finished it and it was very bare.

I took some of The Gaming Otter’s suggestions and put a couple of mannequins in here. I don’t have all of the outfit pieces for them yet, but I ordered more of them (and a scoreboard) today. I also replaced the grass with a simple design to resemble the lines on a football field.

Jeff's still-unfinished football room.

There was something else I didn’t like about my town: I had many scattered, random flowers all over town and it looked very disorganized. So I did some spring cleaning around town to make things look a bit better. There are still a few flower-cluttered areas, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. But it is a step in the right direction.

If you’d like to visit and see the changes, my dream address is 5D00-000F-7611. More changes are coming soon, although they will be relatively minor improvements.

I wrapped up my night with a song at Club LOL. K.K. Slider performed “To the Edge” for me, Kabuki, and Dizzy.

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Donni from Village, Easton from Skyloft, Jaime from Waldron, and Tom from Sasene. Lolly also mentioned dreaming of Alex from Crybaby, and a shopaholic named Stella from Aomura. Thank you all for stopping by, and have a great day!

I recently posted a video listing my top-three favorite villagers for every personality type in the game. Check it out if you’re interested!
