Last Wednesday, Boots asked me for a butterfly. I gave him an emperor butterfly (from my dock box), and he thanked me by giving me a trunk measure.

So when Big Top later asked me for some furniture later, I knew exactly what to give him.

He didn’t use it to measure his trunk, though…at least not in public. But he rewarded me with a washing machine.

Up on Main Street, I said hello to my former villager Hippeux. But I was actually a bit surprised to see he’s still hanging out on Main Street. It’s been four and a half years since he moved out! But then again, there hasn’t been a lot of villager movement over the past couple years, so I guess it makes sense.

There was a meteor shower going on, so I stopped to wish on a few shooting stars.

On Friday, Inkwell was talking about Pete walking around town to deliver mail. He said Pete must have better calves than him.

Today, Boots was looking to replace his emperor butterfly (yes, the one I gave him). I caught a carp for him, and he rewarded me with his picture! This isn’t the first time he’s given me his pic, but it’s still a nice gesture.

I found a lost item on a bridge, and I eventually returned it to Agent S. She also thanked me with her photo! Hers wasn’t a new one for me either, but I’ll take it.

I checked out Inkwell’s house for the first time since he unpacked, and it’s just as Splatoony as you’d expect. 😛

Last Wednesday (November 11th), Big Top informed me that he was planning on moving out of town on the 12th!

I told him to stick around, but that was a really close call! If I had played just one day later, he would’ve been all packed up and it would’ve been too late to save him! What makes it even more interesting is that I almost didn’t play on the 11th. My computer was bogged down with a Windows 10 update, so I picked up New Leaf while I waited for it to finish. If not for that, Big Top would have been gone! 😮

Rolf asked me to dig up his time capsule, so of course I helped out my buddy.

But my reward was just an aqua polka tee.

Today, Inkwell was at Re-Tail, wanting to buy a lunar lander! Octopi do look a bit alien-like, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. 😉

Big Top asked me to pick out some furniture for him. I didn’t have anything in my pockets, so I went back to Re-Tail and bought that Mouth of Truth you can see in the previous screenshot. I gave it to Big Top, and he put it in his house…but facing the wrong way. 😛 (You can’t see the face from the entrance, I mean.)

In return, he gave me a harp. No strings attached. 😉

I then went to the tiger exhibit at the zoo. Uh, I mean, Claudia’s house. Rolf was visiting her.

I found a lost item (a bag) on the ground, and I eventually returned it to its owner, Boots. He said it contained his magic workout dust!

He gave me a pop bloom tee for returning it.

Later on tonight, Lolly told me she was thinking about outer space. She said she’d love to visit other planets, because it would be like a space safari! Sounds fun! 🪐
