On May 2nd, Isabelle kidnapped me for a celebration at the plaza. It was Forest’s 12th anniversary! Mabel, Cube, and Molly joined us for the celebration.

At the end, Isabelle gave me another sapling clock. Yay for 12 years of Forest! If you like to look back at town beginnings on anniversaries like this, feel free to check out my blog entry from Day 1!
Molly asked me to fetch Rolf for her, so I gladly agreed to help out. When I brought Rolf back, Molly said she didn’t need anything specific…she just wondered if Rolf would like to visit for a bit.

However, Rolf said that he was too busy to stick around.

He said he had to get back to picking petals off of daisies!! Oh, such important duties!

Still, Molly appreciated the help, and she rewarded me with a righty desk.
Hazel the squirrel was camping at the campsite, so I said hello.

But I wasn’t interested in plucking her from her current town (and Forest is full anyway).
Today, I caught a flea that was on Lolly. She then told me that she’s been hanging her clothes on a scarecrow to dry!

But she said Aurora has been mistaking the scarecrow for Lolly! Come on, now. I’m sure she’s just joking around! She’s not stupid! It’s the scarecrow that needs a brain, not Aurora!

After completing a couple favors for Mira and Inkwell, I sat on the bench to relax for a few moments. It was such a pretty day in Forest!

Back over by my house, I heard a balloon present flying by…so I shot it down.

Inside, I found a flower chair. I wanted to just plant myself in it and sit there for a while. 😉
Later, I visited Cube and he asked me for a cherry. I hunted one down and took it back to him. He couldn’t wait to gulp it down.

He rewarded me with a conga drum. While it’s certainly not as exciting as his photo would be, it’s still a bangin’ gift. 🪘
I recently posted a slideshow of my best Animal Crossing: New Leaf screenshots from my 12th year in Forest. Check it out if you haven’t seen it yet!
