Moss Ball, Good Call

On Monday, I visited Rolf to find that Lolly was also visiting. But her dialogue was a bit confusing, especially out of context.

Lolly: Pete is here! It must be hard to deliver all the letters in town. We definitely keep him busy!
That’s Rolf, not Pete! 😉

Mira asked me for some new furniture, saying anything would do. So I decided to shop around and buy something special for her.

Harvey: Ah! So you're interested in my moss ball...

I took the moss ball over to Mira, and she seemed to like it. But even if she didn’t like it, I’m sure it’ll grow on her.

Mira: Oh! A moss ball? Good call!

The most surprising part of this exchange was my reward. She gave me a cyclommatus stag! That’s an 8,000-bell reward! For a moss ball! Wow!

Mira: All right... Here. Take my old cyclommatus stag if you want. It's all yours!

Yesterday, Jeremiah asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. He gave me ten minutes to find him, Mira, and Molly. I found Jeremiah pretty much instantly.

Hide-and-seek start! / Jeremiah: Dark. I guess yo...

About two minutes later, I found Mira trying to hide behind the zen bell.

And shortly after that, I found Molly behind Jeremiah’s house. They all stayed on the eastern side of the map, so I didn’t have trouble finding them all in less than three minutes total.

My prize for winning the game was…a mop. Real exciting, huh? It’s okay though, I didn’t let it dampen my spirits.

Jeremiah: To commemorate your win, I'll give you my mop!

I later gave the mop to Mira when she asked me for furniture (again). She gave me a lovely table in return.

During the game of hide-and-seek, I found a lost item on the ground. I eventually returned it to its owner, Boots. He said it was his pole-vaulting glove! Yeah, I don’t think he could pole vault without some help. In fact, he’d need a lot of gator aid.

Boots: Oh, yeah! My pole-vaulting glove!

He said it was still damp from his hand sweat? Okay, that’s kinda gross.

Boots: Feels a bit damp from hand sweat... Yup, it's mine all right!

He rewarded me with a foosball table.

Today, my old buddy Rod was camping out at the campsite.

Rod, at the campsite: Hey! Do you think it's OK if I camp here for a while?
Sure thing!

It was nice to see him again, but of course I don’t have a vacancy in my town.
