Last Thursday, the Reset Center entrance was open once again. I dropped in for another visit, and they had the voice-recognition system set up. Resetti warned me not to press the button and say “Scramble!” He also warned that I should probably avoid saying “Crumble” as well.

But I wanted to test it out (of course), so I went up to it and said “Crumble!” That set the test in motion, and Resetti wanted to reset. 😆

That’s the way the cookie crumbles. 🍪
He launched away, yelling about his…girdle? Too much information there, Sonny.

Back up on the surface, I resumed my walk around town and noticed the northern lights up in the sky. Here they are above Lolly’s house. They’re pretty!

On Saturday night, I checked out the fishing tourney results on the bulletin board. Congrats to Rolf on the win!

Boots didn’t rank in the top-three, but he dreamed that he was on the winner’s podium anyway. 😆

The next day, Rolf gave me a free golf bag. That was nice of him, but it’s not that unusual to get a gift from him…in fact, it’s par for the course. ⛳

I didn’t play on Monday, so I didn’t participate in Festivale this year. At least, not in New Leaf. But if any of you participated, I’d love to hear how it went in the comments! 🦚
Today, I was stacking my bags of bells after finding the money rock when I heard someone fall into a pitfall! It was the pitfall behind the Splatoon face-cutout standee, and it was Lolly that fell into it! Aww, poor Lolly! 😟

Hornsby asked me for a pear, so I tracked one down for him. After he ate it, he used his catchphrase in a very logical way. He said the pear was so tasty, he ate it! 😛

He rewarded me with a pastel-dot rug. A bit later, Aurora gave me a blue dot parasol. I’m not saying those two gifts are related, but it’s not hard to connect the dots. 😉

Inkwell asked me for some new furniture, so I bought him a wooden bucket from Harv at the campground. Inkwell loved it, and he rewarded me with a cabin wardrobe.
