Last night, I attended the final fireworks festival of the year. My villagers were mesmerized by them. 🎆

At the event plaza, Isabelle gave me a flower bopper…which I promptly put on. I also bought a cookie from Crazy Redd. Unfortunately, it contained a dud prize.

But at least he gave me a sparkler as a consolation prize.

Tonight, Hornsby asked me to deliver a gift (a common chair) to Marina. She loved the chair, and she rewarded me with a pink pj shirt. That reward actually sounds like her style, not mine. But thanks anyway, Marina. 😛

Boots asked me to catch an ocean fish for him…any ocean fish. So I went and caught the first fish I saw. And of course, you know that was a sea bass. 😆 I wouldn’t exactly say he was thrilled with it, but he accepted it.

He rewarded me with a rally tank.

I found a lost item (a bag) on the ground near the plaza, and I eventually returned it to its owner, Inkwell. He said it was his “all-purpose bag of workouty goodness.”

He rewarded me with a coconut, which doesn’t sound like the most exciting reward. But I suppose I should be shell-ebrating. 😛

I’m sad to see fireworks season and bug season ending. But autumn is just around the corner! See you next time! 🍂

On Sunday night, I played to check out the fireworks festival. I always try to participate in it at least once a year. It seems that Inkwell also enjoys the fireworks!

Over at the event plaza, Isabelle gave me a star bopper…and then a fountain firework as well. So I tried to burn down the plaza. 😛

I always like to watch the fireworks from several spots around town, and the bridges are among my favorite spots. There aren’t any homes or trees in the foreground, so you have a nice view of the sky. But you can see the cool star-shaped smoke coming from Aurora’s house and Mira’s house in the distance.

At my central bridge, a heart-shaped firework went off over Marina’s head. Only I couldn’t see it because I blinked. (Well, and I was facing the wrong way.) 😉

And of course, my northern park also makes for a great spot to enjoy the show.

There are still two more fireworks festivals to go in 2026, so try to check them out at least once!

I played again today, and I found a lost item near the statue fountain (close to the Roost).

I started asking around to see who it belonged to. Jeremiah acted excited initially, only to bluntly tell me it’s not his.

But it didn’t take me long to find its owner. Inkwell was also nearby, and he told me his new sweatpants were inside.

I just have to wonder how many legs his sweatpants have. Is it eight? Two? Six? Let me know what you think in the comments! 😆

He rewarded me with an aqua polka tee.

No, I said I wanted some Acapulco tea! 😉

When I visited Rolf, he was (kind of) hiding in his cornstalks, and he tried to scare me. 😛

Marina asked me to fetch Jeremiah for her, and I agree to go get him. Jeremiah was a bit afraid though, and he asked me to come along for protection. 😆

Marina just wanted to know Jeremiah’s opinion on what type of fruit topping would go good on peach crisp. Jeremiah said peach topping. So it’s peach on peach.

Jeremiah then promptly walked out.

Marina rewarded me with a shanty wall.

Back outside, I caught a flea that was on Mira. She said the fleas must be in love with her. 😛

Today, I found a lost mitten on the ground right outside of Re-Tail.

It didn’t take me long to track down its owner, Mira. She said she has been off-balance without it. 😆

To thank me for returning it, she gave me a dogtooth tee.

When I ran into Jeremiah, he thought I was checking out his milk can!

He said he would sell it to me for 784 bells. I agreed to the exchange just to be nice (or maybe I was thirsty at the time, who knows).

Over by the cliff, I saw a balloon present flying low. Low enough that I could hit it with my net, so that’s what I did.

It popped the balloon, but unfortunately, the present fell onto my private beach down below.

So I had to find my wet suit, put it on, and swim over there just to pick up the gift. Inside, I found a balloon-dog lamp. All that work just for a piece of balloon furniture? Oof. 😛

The first fireworks festival of the year is coming up on Sunday night, and Hornsby was already looking forward to it. He said he’s going to take lots of naps before then so he’ll be able to stay up and enjoy the fireworks.

When I returned home, I was going to put money in my ABD, but I was in the wrong room. So instead, I accidentally interacted with my lovely phone. It told me that my financial luck may be at its peak, and my lucky item is Makar’s Mask.

Maybe I should put on the mask and walk into a bank, I’m sure that will go over well. 😛
