A Rare Resetti Sighting

On Wednesday night, Lily was out walking around in the rain. She said she couldn’t sleep knowing she’d be missing out on the rain. And as you probably know already, frogs don’t carry umbrellas in New Leaf (although they do in City Folk–including Lily).

Lily: I couldn't possibly sleep knowing that all this sweet, sweet rain is falling outside, zzrrbbitt! After completing my normal play session (and saving/quitting), I returned to the game later on to sell some stuff. But I apparently put the 3DS in sleep mode and forgot about it, because the next day, the 3DS was off and the battery was empty.

As I charged it and started up New Leaf, I was greeted by Mr. Resetti! It’s not very often that I see him outside of his Reset Center. But fortunately, I didn’t lose much progress.

Resetti: Really? Batteries? They just went kaput on ya, huh? Mmm...
I don’t think he believed me.

Today, (March 3rd) is Nintendo Switch launch day. I should be getting my Switch by Monday. But to celebrate the launch, I made a design of the logo and put it on my custom-design sign.

The Nintendo Switch logo on my custom design sign.If you’d like the design, just scan this. I’ve also added it to the QR Codes page.

Naomi: Who knows? Maybe someday you and I will be neighbors!
No. You are not mooving in.

Then tonight, I took a trip out to the island. I caught some valuable bugs (mostly beetles) and a few sharks as well.

I caught a goliath beetle!

When I returned, I sold my catches. I’m not sure exactly how much I earned, but I know it was over 100,000 bells.

My recent dream visitors have been Jordy from Sun Town, William from Toontown, Mary from Moonbeam, and Gem from Twilight. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good weekend!

Festivale 2017

Yesterday, Beth came over to pick up some extra pink roses that I had (and to see Forest again now that the snow has melted). We sat on the bench for a moment, and we were joined by our friend Camofrog. 😛

Beth and Jeff sitting on the bench, with Camofrog walking by.I also visited her town of Acorn, where we ate some leftover chocolate.

Beth and Jeff react after eating chocolate.Back in Forest, I bought one of Big Top’s unwanted items to help him out. Now he can afford to buy what he really wanted, on Switch!

Big Top: This worked out perfectly! Now I've got the bells to buy the thing I really want, on Switch!Today, Festivale was underway! Confetti pours from the sky, and villagers wear some silly headgear for the event. 😛

Rodeo: When I woke up this morning, the sky was pouring confetti! The villagers all seem to be in a great mood.

Lily: Today's the celebration of dance and music called Festivale! Don't be shy! Just dance and have fun!And over at the event plaza, I found Pavé the dancing peacock.

Pave: VIVA...FESTIVALE!He asked me to collect three green feathers for him. Feathers will be floating around town, but they can be hard to spot among the confetti. Over by my southwest park, I caught a rainbow feather! They can be exchanged immediately for a piece of furniture.

Yippeeeee! I got a rainbow feather! These are extremely rare!

But I had to catch a total of 19 feathers before I finally got three green ones. This event is very time-consuming. Pavé rewarded me with his Pavé clock.

Pave: Pave is generous and attractive., so Pave will give you this Pave clock.

He then wanted red feathers, and I only had two. So I went around town a few more times, and I eventually found a third red feather. Pavé gave me a Pavé table for them.

Next, he wanted white feathers…and I had none. So I saved and quit my game, and then restarted. This time he wanted blue feathers, which I had. After redeeming them, I repeated this process a couple more times to try to use up more of my feathers. In all, I acquired eight Pavé furniture items. I put them in storage with my ice furniture until my Re-Tail has a premium on furniture.

Bob was indoors during the time I played, but he said he would go out and dance later.

Bob: Things look pretty crazy outside. I'm gonna go get my dance on later, on my paws.

If you need a list of Pavé furniture or any more information, check out my Festivale Guide.

Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Wayland from Waypoint. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you all enjoyed your Festivale!

Welcome Back, Green Grass!

Just a short update today, mainly to say that the snow is now gone! Grass is green once again, and I changed my frosty ice brick path back to green bricks. Winter is nice in its own way, but I’m glad it’s gone (at least in the world of Animal Crossing).

Green grass, green trees, and my green brick path.On a sadder note, I said goodbye to my last snowmam. I caught (and redeemed) the last of the snowflakes last night.

Snowman, in the green grass of spring: I know, I know... You're thinking, "Wow! That is one resistant snowlady!"I noticed Franklin’s RV at the drive-in campground today, so I went inside to take a look. He has some harvest furniture and some food/cooking related items.

Franklin: I like the look of this place! Not a fork in site!I took a seat to enjoy some pancakes. Don’t worry, I didn’t eat any turkey bacon. 😉

My recent dream visitors have all had “M” names: Maddy from Dogwood, Madison from LeafLock, and Marta from Another. Thanks for visiting, and enjoy your weekend!
