New PWP Suggestion

It’s probably not a good thing when someone starts a conversation with a Navi-style “Hey, listen!” But Pashmina asked if she reminded me of a bagworm! That’s kind of an odd question, but apparently Velma told Pashmina she looks like one. Long story short, she wants a bagworm.

Pashmina: Hey listen! Do I remind you of a bagworm?Today is Groundhog Day in America, and Isabelle was standing at the event plaza for the occasion. She was handing out Resetti models.

Isabelle: Today is Groundhog Day!

There was also a special face-cutout standee for Groundhog Day; you could pose next to Resetti. I tried to make my best angry mole face, but Rolf kept going behind the sign and licking me!

Posing with Resetti for Groundhog DayI spoke to the tiger to see what he wanted. He told me it was time to dig up the time capsule I buried for him two weeks ago.

Rolf: Dig that sucker up!So I went to the northwest corner of town and dug it up. When I returned it to Rolf, he opened it up to find a noble shirt inside. He gave it to me as my reward. (Oh joy).

Rolf: I just grabbed it from around the house and put it in the time capsule!Velma pinged me today, and at long last, she finally suggested a new public works project (PWP)! She told Isabelle to add an illuminated arch to the list of projects! I don’t have immediate plans to install it, but I might consider it in the future. It’s definitely a good thing to have added to my list.  PWPs are why I let these stubborn goats stick around after all, so it’s about time they suggested something!

Velma: We need an illuminated arch! I can’t even remember the last time I got a new PWP suggestion.

Once I was done with my daily tasks, I started searching for that bagworm for Pashmina. I had to shake a whole lot of trees–I even caught five bees during my search (surprisingly without getting stung). But I eventually found a bagworm and took it back to Pashmina. She rewarded me with a red-bar tee. All that work for a shirt.

Phasmina: I'm going to start calling you Creature Wrangler!

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Violet from Miracle was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!

And in honor of Groundhog Day, here are Amazon links in case you’re looking to buy a Resetti Amiibo or a Resetti plush toy. Resetti’s bad attitude is not included. 😉

Maximizing Snowflake Earnings

I recently took a Dream Suite Adventure to the beautiful town of Citàlune (dream address 4800-2245-2005).

Friga was camping out the igloo yesterday. She recently moved out of my ACCF town. But I don’t have room for her here, and I probably wouldn’t have asked her to move in anyway.

Friga camping in an igloo (New Leaf)Today, a message was posted on the bulletin board reminding everyone that Festivale is coming up on February 8th. That’s next Monday (a week from today). If you want a reminder of how Festivale works or if you need info or tips, be sure to check out my Festivale Guide. I’ve also put a link to it in the sidebar.

Festivale reminder on bulletin board.Lately, in an attempt to maximize my earnings from snowflakes, I’ve decided to hold onto ice furniture until it’s the premium item at Re-Tail. Today, wallpaper was the premium item, so I sold my two ice walls for a whopping 35,552 bells!

Selling wallpaper for premium prices at Re-Tail.If you only sell ice stuff on premium day, and if you use perfect snowmams (which only require three snowflakes instead of five), you’re earning over 5,900 bells per snowflake! This might be my new favorite way of making money. I can’t wait until furniture is on premium again! Too bad we only have three and a half more weeks of snowflake season. But I’m going to continue taking advantage of it while I can.

Before I wrapped up my night, I saw the northern lights up in the sky. So I stopped on the bridge to take a look (and a picture).

Northern lights in Animal Crossing: New LeafI don’t think these northern lights are quite as pretty or as colorful as the ones in City Folk, but they’re still nice to look at.

At the Dream Suite, Luna told me Sakura from Nevaland was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!

60 Million Bells

Aurora must’ve had the post-birthday blues yesterday. She told me she wanted to move out on the 2nd of this month. Wait, this month? You’re a bit late for that! Needless to say, I told her she’ll be sticking around.

Aurora: I'm moving on the 2nd of this month.Saharah was in town, and I paid her for some new wallpaper and carpeting. She put in a music-room wall and a bath tile floor.

Not thrilled with Saharah's handiwork.I found a lost item on the ground, so I asked around to find out who dropped it. Big Top admitted that the item was his, but he didn’t lose it or drop it; he got tired of carrying it, so he just set it down on the ground!

Big Top: I got tired of carrying it.Still, Big Top gave me a blue jacket to thank me for returning it.

Daisy had me take a short quiz, and then she told me I need a calculator to be truly happy.

Daisy: To be truly happy, you need a calculator!
Are you sure? Maybe you need to recalculate my results.

Tonight, I caught a dung beetle that was pushing around a snowball. Seconds later, Agent S asked me for it! She gave me a zipper tank for it.

Agent S: How about my zipper tank for your dung beetle? When I took my spare change up to the post office, my bank account balance reached 60 million bells.

Balance: 60,000,000 bells.Over at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Saarah from Pokotown was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!

Stay tuned, I’ll be posting a new Dream Suite Adventure at some point this weekend!
