Yesterday, I attacked a balloon present with my net and I ended up with a new hat. Clearly, it’s a gift from above. 😉
Copper told me Phineas was in town, and I was quite eager to see what new badge I had earned; I didn’t know what to expect. Once I tracked him down, he gave me the Gardening Specialist badge! Now I can stop buying extra flowers and saplings. TZ already gave me a hard time at Friday Night Forest earlier this month for planting a sapling where it wouldn’t grow. I did that on purpose, because I didn’t need the tree, I just needed credit towards this badge.
That was my 13th gold badge. As a result, this is what my badge collection looks like now:
And then today, I found Joan in town, selling turnips for 104 bells each. I bought 4,100 of them this time.
A message posted on the bulletin board announced the winners of yesterday’s Bug-Off competition. Big Top was the big winner with 51 points.
Circle Banner DLC
Pete delivered a new letter from Nintendo regarding a new Nintendo Zone DLC item. Now through August 1st, you can download a circle banner.

When I put my turnip money into my bank account, my balance topped 47 million bells.
Daisy reminded me that the Bug-Off competition is tomorrow. I may not be able to participate, but thanks for the reminder, Daisy!

Still, I wanted to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. So I trapped her until she was ready to ping me. It took a while, but eventually she told me the news.
I fully supported her decision. I’m such a good friend. I wanted to let her know she made the right choice, so I expressed my
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Mike from Newton was my most recent dream visitor.
The museum gift shop back in Forest had a museum chair on sale, and it was the last museum item I needed…except for two I can’t get yet (the paintball wall and museum model).
Saharah was in town today, and I paid her 3,000 bells for this autumn wall and concrete floor.
When I visited Dizzy, I saw that Tom was also hanging out at his house. I guess Dizzy was having a post-birthday party party. 😛
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Brooklyn from Lakewood was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday’s visitor was Lacey from Kokiro. Thanks for stopping by!
