I trapped Joan up against the Sphinx again this morning, and I bought 3,100 turnips from her. She squealed with delight.
Aurora asked me to make a delivery to Forest’s other penguin, Sprinkle. The package contained a waffle shirt that Sprinkle didn’t like…at all.
It’s not very often a villager is this emphatic about how much they hate a gift! Wow.
Still, she rewarded me with a persimmon for making the delivery.
Later, I found a lost item near the river.
As I began asking villagers about the lost item, Sprinkle pinged me. She told me she’s going to be moving out on May 22nd! And this time, she didn’t change her mind right away! Wow, she must really hate waffles.
I found the owner of the lost item over by Re-Tail: It belonged to Dizzy the elephant.
He gave me a raglan shirt to thank me for returning the item to him.
Up in the Emporium, Tommy was looking a bit different today. Is it his hair? Hmm, I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Merka came over for a very brief visit and an even shorter swim.

Tom also showed me his second character’s “evil” house, which has a red light inside.
Aggie came over to join in the fun too, and we all went into Chip’s tent. I pretended that I won the tournament. And it looks like I have a bit of a tan! Oops!
When tt entered the tent, the winner’s ceremony began. Peanut won first place, with Papi in 2nd and Tammi in 3rd. I hate that I was forced to applaud for Tammi.
We then went up to Club LOL to watch some performances from K.K. Slider. After a couple of songs, Tom made us all sit down as he requested a song…
K.K. Disconnect? As the song began, Tom disconnected us all. I guess that’s his little joke. Very funny.
But it fell short of Dizzy’s record, 28.90 inches. I fished for a good half hour or so, trying to catch a bigger fish, but I had no luck. I eventually gave up. Later on, I went in the tent to see the winner’s ceremony. Dizzy’s fish won the grand prize, while Rolf finished 2nd and Daisy got 3rd. Honestly, I’m surprised my 22.60 incher didn’t even get third place! Usually the third place fish is ridiculously small.
Later, Wendy came over to shop. She was looking for more bushes.
We also went out to the island and went on a dragonfly-catching tour. She beat me!
Tonight, Saharah was in town. I paid her for some new wallpaper and carpet, and she installed a sporty wall and a tatami.
After changing everything back, Dizzy barged into my house for an unplanned visit. I hate these things…as you can probably tell by the look on my face.
He gave me a chalkboard, but I just sat down until he left.
Just to let you know, I’m still working on the New Leaf 2nd Year in Pictures slideshow. It’s taking me longer than expected (I had 6,000+ pictures to go through), but I haven’t forgotten about it. So please stay tuned for that.
