Sprinkle Hates Waffles

I trapped Joan up against the Sphinx again this morning, and I bought 3,100 turnips from her. She squealed with delight.

Joan: The asking price is 103 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?Aurora asked me to make a delivery to Forest’s other penguin, Sprinkle. The package contained a waffle shirt that Sprinkle didn’t like…at all.

Sprinkle: Ick, a waffle tee! I don't like this look at all, ice cube. It’s not very often a villager is this emphatic about how much they hate a gift! Wow.

Sprinkle: It's so awful that I really don't even want to put it on.Still, she rewarded me with a persimmon for making the delivery.

Later, I found a lost item near the river.

Finding a lost item.As I began asking villagers about the lost item, Sprinkle pinged me. She told me she’s going to be moving out on May 22nd! And this time, she didn’t change her mind right away! Wow, she must really hate waffles.

Sprinkle: I know this is super sudden, but I've decided to move away on the 22nd of this month!I found the owner of the lost item over by Re-Tail: It belonged to Dizzy the elephant.

Dizzy: Oh! This is mine!He gave me a raglan shirt to thank me for returning the item to him.

Up in the Emporium, Tommy was looking a bit different today. Is it his hair? Hmm, I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Tommy (standing behind Daisy): Welcome! Welcome! Come on in!Merka came over for a very brief visit and an even shorter swim.

I throw beans at Merka as she swims in the ocean.

May Fishing Tournament

Tom was online when I started up the game today, and he invited me over to Tomville. His friend tt was also there, and Tom showed me his new pattern of his other cat.

Tom's cat patterns in Tomville.Tom also showed me his second character’s “evil” house, which has a red light inside.

Tom's "evil" house.Aggie came over to join in the fun too, and we all went into Chip’s tent. I pretended that I won the tournament. And it looks like I have a bit of a tan! Oops!

Me behind the podium, pretending that I won. When tt entered the tent, the winner’s ceremony began. Peanut won first place, with Papi in 2nd and Tammi in 3rd. I hate that I was forced to applaud for Tammi.

Peanut celebrating a fishing tournament win.We then went up to Club LOL to watch some performances from K.K. Slider. After a couple of songs, Tom made us all sit down as he requested a song…

K.K.: OK, time to get this show started. This next one is for you, Tom41. It's called K.K. Disconnect.K.K. Disconnect? As the song began, Tom disconnected us all. I guess that’s his little joke. Very funny.

Back in Forest, I headed over to Chip for info about Forest’s fishing tournament. The fish of the day was carp. I caught one for him, and Chip measured it: 22.60 inches.

Chip: Mmm-hmm. I'd say it looks to be... 22.60 inches! But it fell short of Dizzy’s record, 28.90 inches. I fished for a good half hour or so, trying to catch a bigger fish, but I had no luck. I eventually gave up. Later on, I went in the tent to see the winner’s ceremony. Dizzy’s fish won the grand prize, while Rolf finished 2nd and Daisy got 3rd. Honestly, I’m surprised my 22.60 incher didn’t even get third place! Usually the third place fish is ridiculously small.

Stylish Wendy came over for a visit. We also went out to the island and went on a dragonfly-catching tour. She beat me!

Tortimer: Wendy gets 2 medals, and Jeff gets 1 medal!

Uninvited Guest

Last night, Agent S asked me to find a butterfly for her…in her tail!

Agent S: Because I totally adore butterflies, and I'm hoping you can find one for me, in my tail!Tonight, Saharah was in town. I paid her for some new wallpaper and carpet, and she installed a sporty wall and a tatami.

A sporty wall and a tatami. After changing everything back, Dizzy barged into my house for an unplanned visit. I hate these things…as you can probably tell by the look on my face.

Dizzy: Woohoo! Here I am!He gave me a chalkboard, but I just sat down until he left.

Dizzy: Why do you have that confused look on your face? We were supposed to hang out today, right?
No. No, we were not.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Baxter from Forest was my most recent dream visitor.

I took a trip out to the island, like I’ve been doing pretty regularly lately. I went on a couple of elite-class fishing tours to earn some medals before ending my night.

Tortimer: WHOA! You're a master angler! You've earned a Gold Tortimer award and 12 medals!Just to let you know, I’m still working on the New Leaf 2nd Year in Pictures slideshow. It’s taking me longer than expected (I had 6,000+ pictures to go through), but I haven’t forgotten about it. So please stay tuned for that.

Have a good weekend, everyone.
