Yesterday, Axel was camping out at the campsite. But this town already has two elephants; there’s not any room for more than that! Not to mention it takes a lot of heavy lifting to clean up after them!
Today, my Re-Tail was buying turnips for 204 bells apiece. I didn’t have any turnips to sell, but I opened my gate so that Merka could sell hers. But before Merka arrived, Queen from the town of Bacon stopped by. I’ve had her on my roster for a long time, but this was her first time visiting!
Merka came over to sell her first batch, but as she was leaving, we got disconnected. I reopened my gate and she came back to re-sell them all again. After a while, Queen returned too. I saw a message on the bulletin board, reminding me that Weeding Day is coming up on April 24th.
Queen told me that she loved my fake trees. At first, I wasn’t sure what she meant! But she was referring to my illuminated tree and round topiary.
I ended the session before long, and I later updated my dream town at the Dream Suite. While there, Luna told me that Victoria from Homura was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday, it was Brenner from Astoria.
I finished up my night with a trip out to the island. I’ve been trying to work towards the gold medalist badge lately, so I’m doing at least one tour a day (and more when the island has the tuna-kahuna tour). Today, the best tour available was the shark-battle tour, which earned me 15 medals for catching eight sharks.
I’ll be back with another blog entry tomorrow. Have a good weekend!
Big Top asked me to collect signatures for a petition called “National Monument to Naps.” Sounds like a good cause to me!
And Drago told me to face some mountains and scream “I breathe fire.” Sure thing, pal. I’m just not exactly sure what that would accomplish…
Aurora was still sick, so I bought some medicine for her once again.
The island had the tuna kahuna tour today, so I participated three times. That earned me a total of 60 medals…not bad!
I went to check for open gates, but I didn’t see any. So I closed my 3DS for a while. Later on, I returned to see that Wendy had messaged me while I was gone! Apparently it showed me as being online because I closed the system at the green gate screen. I hadn’t heard from Wendy in a long time, so it was quite a surprise. She let me visit her town to collect my signatures.
Her villagers were happy to join the cause.
I got all the signatures I needed, and then I celebrated by doing a fire dance.
Cookie, Boomer, Bunnie, Bones, Pekoe, and Genji were the animals that signed.
I sold some perfect peaches in Pawnee before returning to Forest and giving Big Top the completed petition. Wendy came over to sell some pears and shop as Big Top gave me his picture as my reward.
I put my peach money in the bank, and my balance reached 39 million bells.
Wendy took a tour of my house since it’s been so long since she was last here. She said she wanted to hit my ice lamp with a sword…because it resembles the gem switches in
Once she completed the tour of my house, I ended the session for the night. It was nice to see Wendy again, and I hope she comes around more often!
It was raining off-and-on in Forest this evening, so I got a break from watering my flowers. Surprisingly, Kabuki told me he loved the rain. Most cats don’t seem to like water, but Kabuki is clearly an exception.
Up at the Dream Suite tonight, Luna told me that Ray from Quelvrin was my most recent dream visitor. When I checked yesterday, it was GoGo from the town of RudyLove.
After returning to the mainland, I found out that Aurora was sick. So I headed up to the Emporium and bought some medicine for her. Get well soon!
