Molly’s birthday was today, so I made sure to pay her a visit. Sprinkle was also there to help her celebrate.
After talking with the birthday girl herself, I gave her a customized astro lamp for her present. She seemed to like it, and she was quite appreciative.
Outside, Octavian was imagining what his life would be like if he was good at tennis. That would be quite a sight to see an octopus playing tennis! I wonder if he would use eight tennis rackets or just one.
After updating my dream town up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Tom41 from Tomville recently visited my town. Hey, I know him!
Yesterday, Agent S traded me a cycling shirt for my potty. The potty train rolls on…
And today, Molly told me she was going to move out of town on March 11. Needless to say, I changed her mind for her.
Over at the campsite, Phoebe the ostrich (or phoenix?) was camping out for the day.
Not much else was going on in town today, so I took a very rare trip to a Club Tortimer island. Caleb was there, and he was sooo polite and friendly.
I quickly left and tried another island…this time an international one. There I met a Japanese(?) player. I don’t know what her name was, and there was a language barrier that prevented us from communicating more than just saying “hi.”
But I chose to go on a hide-and-seek tour, and she joined in. We had to find four villagers, and she found three of them. For that, we earned a gold Tortimer award.
A player named Glacia (an American) then joined us. We all went on an official balloon tour. We were shooting down balloons for a few minutes, but then we got disconnected shortly before the round ended. It was a bit disappointing, but I decided to end my Club Tortimer adventures for the night.
I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow. Have a good weekend, everyone!
Last night, Sprinkle basically called me a lumberjack because I was wearing a blue flannel shirt! How rude!
Just for that, I should get my axe out and chop down her house!
But now that it’s springtime, I decided it was time for a change of clothes. So I ordered myself a shirt and made a couple of trips to Shampoodle (once last night and once again today). With help from my hair guide and eye color guide, I have completed my transformation into Mohawk McClover!
For those who are unaware, Mohawk McClover is the name I give to my character when wearing the club shirt and a green mohawk wig. In New Leaf, I’m also able to wear green eye contacts as well. I’ve been changing into Mohawk McClover every March (for St. Patrick’s Day) since 2009.
I spotted a peacock butterfly in town, so I got my net out and caught it. This is my first (non-island) butterfly of 2015. Spring can officially begin now. (I’m the mayor, so I can say that).
Over at the campsite, I spotted a tent.
Inside, I found Deli the monkey. My town is still full, but I wouldn’t have wanted him to move in anyway. But that does remind me that it’s been a while since I’ve had a vacant spot in town.
I made my way up to Main Street and headed into the Dream Suite. Luna told me that Cecilia from New Oak was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday, that “honor” went to Ruth from Greaton. After updating my dream town, I took a dream visit to a town suggested to me in December of 2013. That lets you know how far behind I am on dream suggestions. But I enjoyed this particular town quite a bit, so I’m planning on it being the destination of my next Dream Suite Adventure (eventually).
My next stop was the post office, where I deposited some money into my bank account. My balance reached 36 million bells.
At the Emporium, I purchased some medicine for Aurora. She’s still sick, so hopefully this will help her feel better.
And down on my beach, I found Gulliver washed up on the shore. He was headed to Russia, so he’ll be sending me some dolls in the mail tomorrow.
