Pete handed me a letter from Nintendo, saying that a red ogre mask will be available at Nintendo Zone locations February 1st through 15th. This item was previously only available in the Japanese version of the game. I hope to pick mine up one day soon.

I also received a letter from the snowboy I built yesterday–he sent me a snowman bed. And a letter from the post office told me I earned 99,999 bells interest in my bank account.

A notice was posted on the bulletin board announcing that tomorrow is Groundhog Day (in America). Isabelle will be at the event plaza handing out Resetti models.

It was snowing in town tonight, and Sprinkle asked me to catch a coelacanth for her. Ha! I flat out told her no. Catch it yourself!

Both of today’s snowballs were near the plaza, and that’s definitely a good thing. Some days I’m too lazy to push them all over town. But it wasn’t much trouble today, and I made myself a perfect snowmam. I exchanged six snowflakes for two pieces of ice furniture.

It was getting quite late by the time I updated my dream town. But I checked to see who my most recent dream visitor was, and Luna told me it was Rebecca from Fantasia.

Yesterday, Wishy sent me a podium in the mail. That wasn’t what I wished for. I won’t stand for this!

Gulliver was down on the beach, talking about an island famous for giant heads. He was clearly talking about Easter Island.

And today, he sent me one of those giant heads–a moai statue–in the mail.

Right outside my house, Aurora pinged me. She told me she was going to move away on the 4th of this month. Wait, what? The 4th of this month was nearly four weeks ago! She meant the 4th of next month, of course, but chalk that up as a mistake by Nintendo. (And yes, my date is set correctly). Regardless, I asked Aurora to stick around.

I went to visit Big Top, and I saw that Kabuki was also visiting him. Three’s a party! Apparently.

Kabuki, who seems to be feeling much better now, appreciated the medicine the other day. He thanked me for nursing him back to health.

He gave me a rugby tee for my trouble. When I went back outside, Agent S asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. I had ten minutes to find her, Aurora, and Dizzy.

I found Agent S almost immediately.

With five minutes to go, I spotted Aurora hiding behind my zen bell. Ding dong, you lose.

I then found Dizzy down on the beach, trying to hide behind a palm tree. Elephants just don’t understand.

With everyone found, that meant I had won the game. Agent S rewarded me with my prize: an air conditioner. In winter. Thanks a lot. (Do I look like a penguin?)

I found today’s snowballs, and I was trying to make a new snowmam (since my last one died overnight). However, I started to make the head a bit too big. But instead of shrinking the head, I made the base a bit bigger. Sure, the proportions ended up perfect, but the bigger base meant I made a snowboy instead of a snowmam. Oops.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Shelby from Petville was my most recent dream visitor. (Jacob from Sea Town was the visitor named when I checked yesterday).

Tomorrow brings the beginning of February! February 25th will bring the melting of the snow, but before that, we have Festivale coming up on the 16th. For more info, check out my Festivale Guide.

Last night, Rolf told me that people are saying I’m a deep diver. (He also repeated it to a dream visitor of mine). I guess it’s because I’ve been doing a lot of diving lately. Well not the past couple days, but prior to that. Still, “deep diver” isn’t a title you see every day.

This morning, Reese was paying 148 bells for turnips. That was a bit lower than yesterday’s price, so I figured the peak had passed. So I sold all my turnips at this price. (My suspicions were confirmed later in the day, when turnip prices dropped to 55).

When I put my new turnip money into my bank account, my balance topped 33 million bells. I’m approximately one-third of the way to the gold savings badge now.

There was a meteor shower in town tonight, so I wished on a few shooting stars. I also sat on my metal bench and watched them fly by.

Dizzy asked me for an apple, so I went to a nearby tree and shook one down for him. He enjoyed the apple and rewarded me with a “fantastic” gift of a bug zapper.

I had a painting to give Sammy, so I dropped it off at his town around 9:30.

Madisyn invited me over to her town, so I stopped over for a visit. Her friends X and Cedric were also there.

I had a little snack while I was there; I ate a famous mushroom that I found back in Forest.

Madisyn joked that her villager Olaf was Cedric’s dad. Went he went to visit his anteater of a father, Madisyn trapped him.

Cedric had to go though, and Madisyn let him leave. Madisyn joked that X was in her math class, and she was tired of having to solve everything for him. She told him to solve things for himself. 😀

I got my beans out and started spraying them everywhere. X told me he’d prefer not to have giants climbing down any beanstalks into town. I figured that would be Madisyn’s problem, not mine, so I kept tossing beans everywhere. 😀

After a little while, Madisyn had to leave…for pizza! She ditched us for pizza and didn’t even offer us any. Just for that, I hope a bunch of beanstalks grow all over your town! 😛

After she ended the session, I continued my walk around Forest. I found Saharah, and I hired her to put in some new wallpaper and carpet. She installed a shoji screen and a lunar surface.

The lunar surface is a keeper, and I’m glad I finally got it. I haven’t been as lucky in ACCF, where I still haven’t come across a lunar surface in 6+ years.

Kabuki was sick today, so I bought some medicine for him. It seemed to have an effect on him.

Agent S asked me to take something to Big Top, so I made the delivery. It turned out to be a mango.

In return, he gave me his picture again. I’ll have to have another villager picture giveaway at some point.
