As I started up the game tonight, I was greeted by the northern lights up in the sky above.

Molly also joined me on the bridge to enjoy the scenic view. From here, you can view the aurora…and Aurora’s house.

I went over to Big Top’s house to say hello, and I found him sitting down. He couldn’t even bother to stand up to talk to me? That’s okay, I understand. For an elephant, just standing up is (literally) a ton of work.

Back outside, Octavian asked me to catch a river fish for him. I love easy requests like this. I caught a dace and took it back to him; he thanked me with a jockey shirt.

On the other side of town, Drago told me that Big Top makes fun of him for saying “toothless” all the time.

So I told him to start saying “gatorhater” instead.

Since May 2nd, 2013, I’ve been blogging about New Leaf just about every day. I’ve only missed three days in those 20+ months (617 days). But if you’ve played any game daily for that long, you know some days there just isn’t anything noteworthy that happens. So I’m going to be scaling back on the New Leaf blog entries, but just by a bit. For now, I still plan on writing at least five blog entries a week. Don’t worry, I’m not giving up on New Leaf or this blog.

There will definitely be a blog entry tomorrow, since it’s Friday Night Forest. Hope to see you then! Thank you all for reading. 🙂

Tonight I found a pack of chic paper in the lost and found at the police station. I rarely write letters, but I do hope to someday get the letter-writing badges. So most times when I find a pack of paper, I try to write one letter. Since Amelia is moving out soon, I decided to send the letter to her as a goodbye gift.

There was an igloo set up at the campsite, so I went inside to see who was chilling out. The camper was Bianca, and this was not her first time camping in Forest.

I believe my previous snowmam had melted away, so I built a new one once I found today’s snowballs. I made her perfectly this time, so only three snowflakes are required for ice furniture.

Big Top asked me for a small piece of furniture to put in his house. I didn’t have anything that fit the bill, so I went up the Emporium and bought a stadiometer. I gave it to Big Top, and he loved it. He gave me a lava lamp as a thank-you gift.

This Friday is the second Friday of the month–that means it’s time for Friday Night Forest! If you’re on my 3DS roster, feel free to drop by my town Friday at 10pm EST (7pm PST).

I received two letters in the mail today, each with a present attached. Gulliver sent me a Manneken Pis from Belgium, and the Snowboy sent me a snowman fridge.

I made a bingo snowman tonight, and his eyes rolled a #34. That gave me my first bingo of the season, at long last! My prize was a ski-slope wall.

Agent S asked me to make a delivery to Octavian; apparently he left something at her house. Once I found Octavian, he was glad to have his tea tansu back. I love his surprised look.

He rewarded me with a loud bloom tee.

After completing a circle around town, I headed up to Main Street. I had Blathers identify a couple of fossils for me, I checked the shops, and I updated my dream town at the Dream Suite. While there, Luna told me that Olivia from Youtube was my most recent dream visitor.

When I returned to town, I noticed the northern lights in the sky overhead.

I also ran into Saharah, so I hired her to put in some new wallpaper and carpet. We quickly headed to my house.

She put in a mosaic wall and a sand garden.

I changed my room back to the ice wall and carpet, and I organized a few items in my storage. Once I was done, Agent S ambushed me.

I talked to her a couple of times, then I just sat on my couch and waited for her to leave. I wrapped up my day with a final visit to Re-Tail to sell my fossils and a couple of other items.
