When I started up the game tonight, I saw that Resetti’s manhole was open.
I jumped down and found Resetti and Don in the middle of a conversation. Resetti was complaining about a voice-recognition system that was forced on them from their HQ. But I thought this was HQ.
Resetti basically told Don he was too stupid for the new equipment anyway.
After they discovered that I was standing there, they told me not to use the voice recognition system to say “Scramble.” But of course, I tried it anyway. Unfortunately, not much happened, other than Resetting telling me to stop.
I noticed something funny as I continued talking to him, though. Each time, Resetti would sink down into his seat as he spoke, only to pop back up when he was done talking. Must be a glitch.
After I went back up, Sprinkle told me that she wanted a yellow present for Toy Day.
That was the final clue I needed! I now have all 20 clues, and I know what everyone wants. Christmas Eve should be a breeze for me now! Here’s my list:
- Molly: a black umbrella
- Big Top: orange food
- Rolf: aqua wallpaper
- Kabuki: a brown toy
- Agent S: a green plant
- Octavian: black clothing
- Sprinkle: yellow food
- Drago: yellow clothes
- Aurora: a pink lamp
- Amelia: a yellow doll
Copper told me that Phineas was in town, and I had no idea what badge I could be getting. Surprise badges are the best kind, in my opinion. Once I tracked him down, he told me I mastered the art of refurbishing products at Re-Tail.
So he gave me the Refurbishing Master badge!
It’s my 10th gold badge! Thanks, Phineas! Here’s an updated look at my current badges:

I was glad to see it was snowing in Forest this evening. Big Top was worried that it would all melt away overnight…and he’s right. We still have a few more days until the snow sticks to the ground.
Thanks to a tip from Squishy, I learned that the holiday stocking can be customized. The only option was to make it aqua, but that’s fine by me.
So I made sure to pick it up when it was done. It looks really nice! Thanks for the tip, Squishy! I don’t normally think of customizing items from holidays or special events, since most of them can’t be altered.
In front of my metal bench, Sprinkle told me that she had a scoreboard in her pocket! Wow, and I thought my pockets were big!
I saw a big snowflake floating around, so I got my net out and caught it! I can’t exchange it for ice furniture until I build a snowmam though, and that can’t be done until snow covers the ground. But it’s still fun to catch them!
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Lulu from Solitude was my most recent dream visitor.
I found Joan outside of the police station, which is a bit risky of her. I know she’s illegally selling turnips without a license! But she was charging 103 bells for each turnip, and I was able to buy 3,100 of them this time.
After buying my turnips, I put the game away until much later tonight. By then, Katrina was closed for the day, but I was still falling on my face. Alli and Benedict got to see an example of this first-hand.
She said she was talking about her running speed, but I don’t know. She claimed to be the fastest eagle in Forest for three years running. That was clearly a lie though; she just moved into town
I got a few more Toy Day hints tonight. With 18 out of 20 possible clues now, I should have no trouble being a perfect Santa this year.
I caught this cool picture of the moon peeking out over the train station, as some wispy clouds flew overhead.
Sprinkle asked me for a pill bug, so I went around banging rocks until I found one for her. She said the bug was cool in pudding. Uhh, gross.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Rhian from Aurias was my most recent dream visitor. And I want to let you all know that I added 10 new patterns from Gia and Beth to the
