Amelia the Cheerleader?

I was chatting with Aurora tonight, and she wondered if she raised her bug well enough, if it would come when she calls it. Uhh, good luck with that.

Aurora: If I take good care of my bug, do you think someday it will come when I call it? Here, Skippy!Amelia was remembering back to when she used to be a cheerleader. Her?

Amelia: Whoa, sorry. I think I just had a flashback to my cheerleader days.
I don’t know what team she cheered for, but I have a feeling it was the Eagles.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that KK from Astrio was my most recent dream visitor.

And Copper informed me that Saharah was in town, so I hunted her down and hired her to put in some new wallpaper and carpeting.

Saharah: Your palace is renewed, King Jeff. Rule it now.She installed a flower pop wall and a cabin rug. Ehh, no thanks.

A flower pop wall and cabin rug.

December Shopping

I didn’t make it to the shop yesterday, but I made sure to check out the new stuff for today. For December, the Nooklings sell glow wands and party poppers.

Tommy: Ah, a yellow glow wand! A fine item, yes? Some holiday furniture items will also be on sale. You may find Jingle furniture or a Christmas tree for example, but my Emporium just had this holiday candle. However, this sales cat is seriously freaking me out.

Looking at the holiday candle as Tabby looks on.And up in GracieGrace, it’s the beginning of a new season. Gracie has started selling gorgeous furniture once again.

Gracie: Technically, it's priceless. But if I had to put a price on it...does 140,000 bells sound fair? Also, you may be able to find pieces of Santa’s suit at Able Sisters. The complete outfit will come in handy on Christmas Eve.

When I returned to town, Aurora told me she was moving out on December 6th! But fortunately, I was able to change her mind.

Aurora: Maybe it isn't the right time to move after all. Thanks for helping me realize that, Mr. J.When I spoke to Amelia, she hummed the town tune of her previous home, Pawnee. She was wondering what’s going on there now.

Amelia: I wonder what's going on these days over in Pawnee...She wasn’t the only animal in town feeling nostalgic for a former home; Drago also hummed a few bars of his old town tune from Maine.

Drago: Sweet, sweet memories of the banana bread I never finished eating...Toy Day is coming up on Christmas Eve, and the animals have already started dropping hints on what they want. Be sure to keep track of the clues they give you, because they’ll come in handy on the 24th! So far, Big Top told me he wants something orange and Molly wants something black.

Molly: I've given it a lot of thought. For this year's Toy Day, I'd really like something black.Agent S told me she was replacing her nutcracker, so she asked me to find her some furniture to replace it. She wanted me to bring it up a tree!

Agent S: So if you find a nice little accent like that, could you bring it to me, up a tree?I didn’t have any extra furniture that could be placed on something else, so I just caught a fish for her. She rewarded me with a compass. Great, now I can find the north pole.

Sagittarius Arrow DLC

When I started up the game today, I was treated to the first snow flurries of the season.

Snow flurries!Later on, Aurora told me she found a single rubber boot while walking to Kabuki’s house. So her natural instinct was to pick it up and take it with her? She gave it to Kabuki, and he put some flowers in it to use it as a vase. My villagers are a bit weird.

Aurora: Kabuki took that boot and put some flowers in it just like a vase!Over by the event plaza, I noticed that the town tree is pretty much completely bare now. The leaves will grow back in the spring, but that seems like a long time away right now.

My bare town tree.Up on Main Street, Luna told me that Hunter from Pompeii was my most recent dream visitor. And in the post office, I remembered that I haven’t checked for the latest DLC yet! Even though it’s probably been available for over a week now, I asked Phyllis and got my Sagittarius arrow.

Phyllis: OK, all right. Here's the Sagittarius arrow!I hung it on the wall in my modern wood room. I’m not even sure how I did it–look how high that is compared to my height!

Hanging up the Sagittarius arrow.I considered it such a great accomplishment that I had to take a bow.

Outside, Amelia asked me for a pear. I went around town and eventually found a pear tree to shake. I took a pear back to her, and she seemed to like it…but then she gave me a vision tester! But I gave you the right fruit!

Amelia: I really need to thank you. Here--it's a vision tester.
