Today, Rolf asked me if I’d like to practice rounding up suspicious critters around town. He was really asking me to play hide-and-seek. It seems like my villagers have wanted to play this a lot lately, but that’s fine by me.
I had 15 minutes to find him and the two penguins. I started out by heading to the right instead of the left this time, and it paid off. I found Sprinkle hiding behind Drago’s house, in pudding!
About a minute later, I found Rolf–also hiding behind a house.
And within another minute, I found Aurora hiding behind Agent S’s house.
I won the game in under three minutes, and Rolf rewarded me with a lazy-Susan table.
Over by my bridge, I got Drago to ping me. He told me he was moving out on November 16th, and I told him he wasn’t going anywhere.
And in the southern part of town, my new Sphinx has been completed! At some point, I’m going to try making a sand pattern to turn this area into a small desert. But for now, I just put in some yellow bricks and yellow roses.
But soon after, I fell on my face! Is the Sphinx cursed? Did I fall victim to some Sphinx jinx?
Or maybe I’m just having a bad luck day. đ I then spoke to Isabelle at town hall and told her I wanted to attend the completion ceremony. We headed there right away.
After that, I decided to check in on Big Top again. He was sick yesterday, and he’s still sick today. Once again, I bought some medicine for him. Get well, get well soon. We wish you to get well!
I decided to return to the Sphinx. No PWP is really broken-in until I’ve glitched onto it, so I used the net glitch to get up on its paws.
And I’m not weird or anything, but…well…okay, maybe I am a bit weird.
By the way, I’ve already updated my dream town for the day, so feel free to visit the Sphinx if you’d like! My dream address is 4300-2003-9889. I’ll be back with a Friday Night Forest blog entry late tomorrow night. Hope to see you then!
Crazy Redd had a tent set up at the plaza, and he was selling some works of art. I knew that three of his four items were fake, so I figured this warm painting must be real. I bought it, even though I already have a warm painting in my museum.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna informed me that Claire from Mico was my most recent dream visitor.
And for the first time in a long time, I decided to install a new public works project (PWP)! I’m finally putting in a Sphinx near my pyramid. I’m not trying to copy off of Squishy’s townÂ
I took some money out of my bank account to pay it off, and it will be completed tomorrow! Here’s a better look at its location.
I’ve been accumulating a lot of customized furniture lately. They’re good for giving to animals, but I’ve been reluctant to sell my extras since I want my villagers to take them. However, my stockpile has gotten a bit too big and I wanted to start clearing some of them out.
When I spoke with Aurora, she told me that Drago was planning on moving out soon! Oh no! Unfortunately, he wasn’t home and I didn’t find him around town. But I’ll keep an eye out for him in the coming days. Hopefully I’ll be able to talk him out of moving in a day or two.
Big Top was sick with a bad cold today, so I bought some medicine for him. Hopefully it will work soon, because he assured me it’s not fun having a big trunk full of mucus.
I sold my 3,100 turnips for a grand total of 1,413,600 bells! Thank you very much, Meli! I then gave her a tip.
No, actually she asked me not to tip her, although I did slip her a 100-bell coin. I’m a big spender. đ
I put the money into my bank account at the post office, and my balance topped 28 million bells.
When I checked my mail, I found a letter from Gulliver in Scotland. He sent me some bagpipes. I’ve always liked bagpipes, so I put them in my house next to my sofa (replacing my deer scare).
Down by the river, Octavian had a flea on him. So I got my net out and caught it…as a nosy kitten looked on.
And at the event plaza, I noticed that the town tree is losing its leaves. Of course, this is completely normal for this time of year. The leaves fall off and will be gone by winter, and they’ll regrow in the spring.
Octavian asked me for an ocean fish, so I caught an olive flounder for him. When I gave it to him, he thanked me with a spade tee.
Rolf was getting hungry, but he wasn’t interested in eating any of Forest’s former residents up on Main Street. He asked for a pear, and I gave him a perfect pear. He loved it and he rewarded me with a table lamp.
Just a reminder for the people on my 3DS roster that Friday Night Forest is this week. I’ll be opening my gate on Friday around 10pm EST.
