Dangerous To Go Alone

I had a little chat with Molly tonight. Is it me, or does she look a bit different in this lighting?

Molly: Really?!Sprinkle was standing on my central bridge, holding a fishing rod. I wondered if she was trying to catch a fish, but she told me it’s to reel in the latest fashions. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at her.

Sprinkle: Yeah, I can't wait to reel in whatever's totally in season now, tiger! My other penguin Aurora was hungry for a healthy snack, so she asked me for a piece of fruit.

Aurora: Some fresh fruit would help balance out all the moon cake I've been eating lately.I gave her a perfect peach, and then I suddenly felt like I was playing The Legend of Zelda. It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.

Aurora: Take my sword, please.Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Rose from Alternia was my most recent dream visitor. And some freaky monsters were roaming Main Street! I thought Halloween was over! Good thing I have a sword!

Tabby: Wow, sweet tabbouleh! And down on the beach, I woke up an unconscious seagull. Gulliver was telling me about a merlion, which has the head of a lion but the body of a fish. He then told me he had the head of a seagull and the body of a seagull.

Gulliver: Hey, did you know I have the head of a seagull and the body of a seagull too?You don’t say. He didn’t appreciate my lack of laughter.

Gulliver: That's where you're supposed to laugh! But anyway, he’s headed off to Singapore next. So I’ll be getting a gift from him in the mail tomorrow.

Hide and Squid

This evening, Octavian asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. I agreed, and I had 15 minutes to find him, Sprinkle, and Molly.

Octavian: Hey, let's get started already! Readyyy, set...GO!It took me less than a minute to find Sprinkle, and less than two minutes had elapsed by the time I found Octavian hiding behind Agent S’s house.

Octavian peeking out from behind a house. And with 11 minutes still on the clock, I found Molly hiding behind Rolf’s house. This was probably one of my fastest hide-and-seek wins so far.

Molly: Eek! You found me!For my prize, Octavian gave me an office chair. It seems like a strange reward for a children’s game!

Octavian: I give up...Aurora told me she was going to move out of town on November 11th, but I changed her mind for her. She is the only of my original villagers that still lives in town, and I want to keep her around forever, for that reason.

Aurora: Maybe it isn't the right time to move after all. Thanks for helping me realize that, Mr. J.Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Lilo from Kuai’i was my most recent dream visitor. No word if Stitch also visited.

I then took a boat ride out to the island. I hadn’t gone on many island tours lately, so I decided to go on an easy gardening tour. I finished it with three minutes remaining, and I earned a gold Tortimer award and six medals.

Completing a successful gardening tour.Later on, I delivered a few items to Kristie from Pace. I hope you like the items, Kristie!

Kristie: Howdy.

Yay Sports Petition

I got Kidd’s goodbye letter in the mail today. So long, ya old goat. You’ll be missed.

Kidd's goodbye letter.Even though you say goodbye to the animals when they move out and they send you a letter, sometimes it doesn’t sink in until you walk by their house and find an empty space instead. That’s what happened when I crossed my eastern bridge and found a goat-sized void.

The empty spot where Kidd's house was.Amelia asked me to collect signatures for an important cause: Yay Sports!

Amelia: Would you help me get signatures for my petition? It's called Yay Sports!Up on Main Street, another former villager has started appearing: Tammy the bear cub. She moved to Tiffiny’s town Auctus back in February.

Tammy: Hold up... Jeff? It is you! Crazy!
Wait, you’re calling *me* crazy?!

Molly asked me for a river fish, so I caught a carp for her. But when I spoke to her, a house blocked my view of her. But she’s back there somewhere!

Molly: Oh! Thanks so much for this carp!Wendy opened up her gate for me so that I could collect signatures for Amelia’s petition. Thanks, Wendy! I started out by going into Cookie’s house. About halfway through the conversation, I noticed a body in her bed!

Cookie: There. Glad to put my name down for such a major cause!I found another surprise outside: The moon coming out of Bunnie’s chimney!

The moon appearing to come out of a chimney.I finished up by getting the signature of Wendy’s most-hated villager, Queenie.

Queenie: And mine's the last signature you need! Now return the petition to whoever gave it to you, OK?I then returned to Forest. Here’s a look at the completed petition:

Petition signatures: Cookie, Genji, Kiki, Daisy, Gala, Queenie.I returned it to Amelia, and she rewarded me with a patchwork table. Obviously it’s too soon to be getting her villager picture, but this should begin the journey towards friendship.

Amelia: This is great! I can't believe that so many people supported our cause, Jeff!
