Last night, Wendy let me stop over at her town to sell some perfect peaches. I sold 12 baskets of them and earned 324,000 bells.
Her town is coming together nicely. She has flowers lining most of her paths already, and she has bushes outside of her house.
She was in the process of building the cafe, and I went over to talk to Lloid. But when I did, I found that I was talking to Daisy instead! She was hidden behind the tree (until I pressed the talk button, of course), so I was quite surprised!
Wendy needed signatures for a petition, so we headed over to Forest for a while. As she went around asking my villagers to sign away their souls the petition, I went looking for some furniture for Big Top. I saw a lovely moth outside of Re-Tail, so I caught that and gave it to him.
He told me he would treat it well, and he gave me a green bed in return.
After Wendy was done, I ended the party for the night. Then today, I got Frank’s goodbye letter in the mail. He did not attach his picture to the letter, since I really didn’t have enough time to befriend him.
I opened my gate briefly, and Patty stopped by to say hello.
I deposited my money from the peaches last night, and my bank account balance topped 16 million bells.
I was falling on my face today, and I think even Katt was laughing at me!
So I went into Katrina’s shop to see what she can do to improve my luck. She told me I needed a long-sleeve shirt. But she said it was no problem if I didn’t have one, because she would sell me a special charm for 10,000 bells that would give me good fortune.
I handed over the bells for the charm, and she gave me a celebration hat.
It didn’t exactly look good on me, but it kept me from falling.
Wendy came over again tonight to sell some pears. Of course she had to bad-mouth my hat, saying it looked like a red pie on my head.
I took the hat off, but Wendy put her blue Pikmin hat on.
After doing a little glitching, I ended the party for the night.
But I did find Joan, and at 11:58 a.m., I bought 1,100 turnips from her for 102 bells apiece.
And today was Frank’s last day in town, so I went to say goodbye to him.
I kind of feel bad for letting him move out so soon; I don’t even feel like I got to know him very well. But I wanted to get back down to nine villagers. It’s all Dotty’s fault, really.
After she spoke with him, Frank confirmed that he’s moving to her town. Best of luck in your new town, pal! And Emzer, feel free to post a comment from time to time to let me know how he’s doing! 🙂
After that, I ended the session and put the game away for a while. When I returned later, I saw a big fish shadow in the river. I caught myself a nice arapaima, which sells for a cool 10,000 bells.
While I was at town hall, I saw something I don’t think I’ve noticed before: a tiny clock above the door. It was about 6:20 when I took this picture.
And up at the Dream Suite, I updated my dream town. Luna told me Corynne from Ammear was my most recent dream visitor.
Near the town tree, I found a lost item.
But I didn’t have much trouble reuniting it with its owner. It belonged to the first villager I asked about it, which was Agent S. I found her near Re-Tail.
She thanked me and gave me a fern tee. I continued on to Main Street, including a stop at the Dream Suite. Luna informed me that Livvy from the town of Fluffy was my most recent dream visitor.
And next door at Club LOL, K.K. performed Rockin’ K.K. for me.
After the song was over, I went over to the Emporium. I was in GracieGrace up on the third floor when the clock struck midnight. It was business as usual; Gracie made no attempt to kick me out. But the instant I went down to the second floor, Timmy was there to throw me out of the store.
What about Allie? How come she wasn’t kicked out at 12:00? You’re discriminating against humans! I’m going to hire an investi-gator!
