Tonight, I (eventually) noticed my new astro roof. I just wish it was smooth and metallic instead of a blue/gray honeycomb. I was half expecting a swarm of robotic bees to come out of the astro roof and attack me.
Aurora asked me to bury a time capsule for her. I put it in the northwest corner of town, as usual. I keep them all in that area so they’re easy to find when the time comes up to dig up the bodies time capsule.
While working a shift at the cafe, this “Beardo” creature came in. What in the world is this thing??
There were a pair of tents in town today. One was Crazy Redd’s tent, where I bought this basic painting.
The other tent was at the campsite, where Penelope was camping.
After she was done talking about the voices in her head, she wanted me to play a game where I flattered her!
I had no intentions of lying to the crazy mouse, so I declined the offer and left the tent. Back outside, I ran into Tex. He told me that he plans on moving out of Forest because nobody “gets” him.
You can include me in that too, so I didn’t try to stop him. He’ll be moving out on the 25th.
That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow. And as usual, I’ll be opening my gate this Friday at 10pm Eastern U.S. time. I don’t have the roster space to add new people, but the people already on my roster are welcome to come over for a visit.
I worked a shift at the cafe and earned more superb coffee beans. But in Re-Tail, there was no room for more. I had to buy Big Top’s vertigo shirt in order to make room for my beans. I had six things of
Only five more to go! Up on Main Street, Tom Nook had an astro roof for sale. I’m not in love with it, but it matches my astro exterior and door. Tom Nook will install it tomorrow.
I had been asked to make a delivery to Teddy. So I went to his house, and to my surprise, I saw Benedict in there with him! What’s going on in here? I’m going to assume they were about to cosplay Banjo-Kazooie.
I gave Teddy his package, and Benedict seemed to give Teddy a peck on the cheek. But he may have just had some corn lodged in his fur. Corn easily sticks to honey, and Old Big Bear likes the honey.
Anyway, Teddy gave me a modern wood chair for returning his item. Much like the sleek sofa earlier, the modern wood chair is a piece to a set I’m collecting, but it’s a piece I already had.
UPDATE: Just wanted to mention that even though Katie didn’t go with me to Wendy’s town yesterday, she still sent me a letter and gift. The letter said “To Jeff. Were you worried when I missed the train? It’s OK. I got the next one and continued my travels! Here’s a present for you!” And she attached a digital-photo frame to the letter.
In another room, he had some really cool polka dot furniture. And I know that sounds like a joke, but it wasn’t really polka-dotted. It had been modified (perhaps with emeralds?) and it was green and shiny and metallic. Unfortunately, I was unable to order it.
But the best room in Bill’s house was definitely this Zelda-themed room.
Back in town, Big Top was telling me to support his petition for National Juice-Box Day. I was happy to help him out with it. This petition’s gonna be off the hook!
I went in my house for a bit, and Molly decided to come in. She said she saw a fish that reminded her of me!
That’s pretty insulting! It felt like a dab in the dace…or I mean, a slap in the face! I was tempted to snap back at her, but I decided not to take the bait. I wanted to kick her out and send her seaward, but she wouldn’t leave until she was good and ready.
I then headed up to Main Street. There was a hologram machine on sale at T.I.Y.; I wanted to see what it did, so I bought it.
And unfortunately, I spotted Katie in town. Ugh.
Since I had Katie, a petition that needed to be signed by out-of-towners, and a dozen perfect peaches to sell, I asked Wendy to open her gate. She did, but on my way, Katie refused to go to Oakville with me! I guess because she came from Oakville in the first place, she didn’t want to go back there again. Katie is so annoying. Anyway, I started asking Wendy’s residents for signatures.
Angus told me I should just move to Oakville.
I ended up getting all of my signatures that I needed. But if you remember my villager Rory, he must have loved Oakville too, because he moved there. I made sure to say hello to him while I was there.
After that, Wendy and I headed back to Forest. It seems that a new Nookling is working for the Able Sisters. Her name must be Wable.
But then I found out she’s actually Tom Nook’s wife. Here is the happy couple in Nook Homes.
Anyway, I took the completed petition back to Big Top. I like juice!
He gave me a water cooler as a reward. I went into my house to look at it and the hologram machine. Princess Leia popped up and told me to oil R2-D2 every 3,000 miles.
