Late last night, Tex was clearly delusional. He said that putting in a parabolic antenna was one of my campaign promises when I ran for mayor! 😮
But then he realized how wrong he was. But he added the parabolic antenna to the list of available town projects.
Tonight, I went to see my brand new modern police station!
And inside, I met Copper the police dog.
I then went to work at the Roost. I got Tabby’s coffee perfect, and she was talking about her famous Jeff dancing moves??
A camper was in town, so I went in to see who it was. It was Whitney the wolf. Is it just me, or do her eyes look in-tents?
Speaking of “Jeff dance moves,” I tried out my Shrunk funk shuffle on Whitney, and she danced with me! Awesome!
She asked me if she should move into Forest…I wasn’t sure, so I didn’t answer right away. She’s pretty cool, but she’s not one of my favorites. Still, I told her to move in. However, she wasn’t convinced. Perhaps the forty-three seconds that had passed gave her paws pause. Or maybe she just wanted her privacy.
Today’s gem rock gave me a gold nugget. I had two in my house already, so I took the three of them to Re-Tail, where Cyrus was able to combine them into golden furniture. More on that later.
When I was done in town, I headed up to Main Street. All four of my fossils were duplicates (as usual), but I realized my balloon furniture exhibit at the museum didn’t have a title yet. So I gave it one.
And at Nook Homes, I noticed an arched astro door on sale. My house has the astro exterior, but not the door to go with it. That will change as of tomorrow.
After that, I went back to town hall, where Isabelle teleported me to the modern police station. This is the best police station opening ceremony I’ve ever attended!
Sources say my town was still underdeveloped, so I decided to put in a yellow bench. I chose a spot near my wind turbine and in front of town hall.
It was only 30,000 bells, so I took the money out of the banana stand my pockets and paid it off. Isabelle will build the yellow bench by tomorrow.
♫ Big yellow bench, big yellow bench, meet me down at the big yellow bench. ♪
I then returned to Re-Tail, where Cyrus had a big golden clock with my name on it.
That’s all for today, but check back tomorrow for more!
The aquarium is looking really nice now that it has a bigger selection of fish in it.
We hung out at my town for a while, and went to her town as well.
And we also went out to the island.
I discovered something interesting while there. When you’re sitting in the chairs at the island, waiting for the boat, it won’t leave while you’re doing an emotion. So I did my dancing emotion, which lasts quite long compared to the regular emotions, and it had to wait for it to finish before the boat would leave. It seemed to let me restart the emotion too, so I can see that getting abused once more people get that emotion.
I also made a trip to the island for some bug-catching tonight. When I returned, I had enough money to finish paying off my modern police station! It will be completed tomorrow!
I did well at my second job today, and I earned some superb coffee beans. But then Brewster told me about how a customer once showed him a gyroid, and he couldn’t get it out of his mind. So he made one of his own, and he gave it to me!
It’s called a brewstoid, and it looks a lot like him. It’s a bit creepy, actually.
And yesterday, I got a suggestion from apple-cupcake on Tumblr. She said I should leave my toy hammer out, so dream visitors can use it to beat up Tabby and Katt. That sounded like a great idea to me, so I left my toy hammer near my town tree.
I’m not going to leave it there forever, but I’ll try to leave it for at least a few days. So if you’d like to play around with the toy hammer and/or check out my town, my dream address is
After that, I made my way down to my brand new wind turbine!
And of course I attended the project completion ceremony for the wind turbine. Hooray!
With that done, I went up to Main Street for my shopping run. T.I.Y. had the song “Pondering” for sale, although it has a questionable album cover.
When I returned to town, I spotted Phineas! He gave me a “Skilled Bug Catcher” badge. This is my 9th badge.
Isabelle said Forest was still underdeveloped, so I decided to put in a police station. Even though I like Booker better than Copper, I went with the modern police station. The classic one looks too much like a dilapidated outhouse.
Later on, I went up to Club LOL to watch K.K. perform. He sang K.K. Groove for me.
