I worked a shift at the Roost again today, and one of the customers was Lucky, from out of town. He’s a mummified dog, and he’s actually pretty cool.
I still haven’t had a perfect day at the cafe just yet, but I did fairly good today. Brewster gave me some good coffee beans and a coffee grinder.
Back outside, Tabby and Aurora were whistling The Final Countdown (my town tune) as I spotted a big dragonfly. I went over to it and caught it without any trouble at all; it was a banded dragonfly!
I headed over to Club LOL and I gave Shrunk a peach. He taught me the heartbreak emotion.
I only need five more emotions now. And then I’ll never have to feed Shrunk again! 😛
I found my daily fossils, but they were all duplicates once again. I haven’t found a new one in a while. Then I did my shopping, sold some stuff, and returned home. But later on, I returned back to Club LOL for traditional KK. I ended up getting K.K. Synth from him.
He then corrected himself to say Wendy from Oakville instead. But he said she was one heck of a civic leader. If you say so. 😛
In Club LOL, Shrunk taught me the sheepishness emotion.
And of course, it was raining cats and dogs…as always. I know it’s the rainy season, but it shouldn’t be this rainy. Give me at least one day without the rain, please! I’m dying to catch some July bugs already! Benedict had a good idea; he said it should rain fruit punch instead of water.
I then stopped in Rolf’s house and found a surprise: Tabby! 😮 What in the world did I walk in on?! I lost a lot of respect for Rolf today.
Running back outside into the rain provided no relief from ugly cats. Katt was out there, talking about how wet we both were.
But she asked me to play hide and seek. Any game that involves Katt staying out of sight sounds like a good game to me! Rory and Benedict also joined in the game.
I had 15 minutes to find them all. Rory was the first one I found, hiding behind the modern clock. That’s a really stupid thing to hide behind, considering you can see right through the huge opening.
Next, I found Katt hiding behind town hall.
I still had nearly 12 minutes left, so I took my time and stopped at Re-Tail to sell some stuff. Not far from there, I saw Benedict hiding behind a house. I talked to him and won the game.
Katt gave me a modern wood table. As soon as I took the item from her, all three of their umbrellas popped up at once. It was actually kind of funny.
After a shopping run, I was basically done for the day. But Wendy asked to come over to shop, so I opened my gate briefly. With her hair style and color, she actually looked like Yann!
After she finished, I ended the session.
As I returned to town, I worked a shift at the Roost. I did okay, earning some good coffee beans. Brewster also gave me some cream and sugar (a furniture item).
Fuchsia is all packed and ready to move out, so I went to say goodbye to her.
And outside in the rain, Rory approached me and told me he’s ready for me to dig up his time capsule!
I went and dug it up and took it back to him. He opened it up and found a sweaty shirt inside, which he offered to me. Gee, thanks.
After reading the enclosed letter he wrote himself, he was embarrassed.
He then gave me the sweaty blue plaid tee…oh joy.
Anyway, I got my famous painting in the mail from Crazy Redd. And this time, it was the real thing! I donated it to the museum. It’s nice to see it finally displayed with its real name, Mona Lisa.
I stopped in Shampoodle for some color contacts; I now have blue eyes.
And in the Able Sisters, there was a curious item for sale…a leaf.
