I recently realized that even though I have Tom Nook’s Amiibo card, I apparently never scanned it in New Leaf before. So I did it, and I was able to receive a gift from him. (I couldn’t see his RV, since I only have his card and not his Amiibo figure). But that gift was his picture!

His favorite quote is on the back: “I’ll be there with bells on! Ho ho!”

On Thursday, I helped out Gulliver (he was heading to China). When I went back up to town, I noticed Gulliver down on the beach, looking up at me. Stop watching me!

When I started up the game today, Big Top quickly informed me that the awards ceremony was canceled. I didn’t even know there was an event today!

That event was the Bug-Off, as I saw on the bulletin board. Agent S was the winner. Congrats, squirrel-friend!

Lolly told me that she likes to hang her laundry on her fishing pole! I don’t think that sounds like a good idea…but then again, I’m not a cat.

When I visited Vivian, she asked if I ever wear makeup!

She must be the new Avon lady in Forest, and she’s trying to drum up some new sales. She should try Claudia. Claudia could use some help in the beauty department (and in other departments as well). 😛

Remember Aurora’s skeleton from last week? Tonight, Lolly inquired about it.

She was preparing to make an oil painting of a skeleton, but she didn’t know what one looked like. So she wanted mine. I mean, Aurora’s skeleton…I think.

In exchange, she offered me a red-grid shirt. That didn’t seem like a fair trade, but I agreed to it anyway.

Claudia and Vivian were having an awkward conversation, and they both kept talking under their breath about the other. I get the impression they don’t like each other very much. Or at the very least, they just don’t trust each other.

I also listened in on a conversation between Boots and Rolf, and Boots kept shouting at Rolf.

At first, Rolf didn’t understand why Boots was shouting. But then he figured out that Boots (a jock) was yelling in an effort to build muscles.

And he was absolutely right.

At Club LOL, K.K. Slider performed some reggae music for me, Daisy, and Peck.

E3 is just a few days away now! If Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch is revealed (and I’m expecting it), I will be posting my impressions of it at some point this week. Keep an eye on the (newly-resdesigned) JVGS home page for that.

On Friday, Lolly asked me if her bug will come to her if she calls it. I kinda doubt it, but feel free to give it a try. 😛

Last night, I found a lost item (a bag) outside of Big Top’s house. The bag actually belonged to Lolly, and she said there was an important recipe inside.

I was hoping for her picture, but she didn’t even give me furniture for it. She gave me a gray tank. 😛

When I met up with Boots, he broke the fourth wall by “teaching” me how to take photos in the game.

Aurora asked me for some new furniture today, so I gave her a Mouth of Truth that I got from Gulliver. She was dying to repay me, so in return, she gave me her skeleton!

Claudia wanted to play a game of hide-and-seek, and she gave me 15 minutes to find her, Molly, and Boots. It took me about three minutes to find Molly behind a tree, and another minute or so to find Boots hiding behind Hornsby’s house. With ten minutes left on the timer, I found Claudia behind Lolly’s house.

Claudia gave me a school chair as my reward for winning the game.

A bit later, I ran into Claudia again. She told me that Molly is allergic to black tea…but then she admitted she just made it up. I really don’t like this tiger.

Now that June is here, fireflies have arrived! They’re only around for this month, so if you still need one, make sure to do it in the next 29 days.

I finished up my night with a Saturday night performance from K.K. Slider. He played K.K. Technopop for me, and it was more of a fizzle than a pop. It’s not a good live song.

My recent dream visitors have been Ametrine from Gemstone, Giada from Moonvale, Anju from Hyrule, and Abby from Foxglove. In addition, Lolly mentioned dreaming of Mario from Mushroom! That name and town sure sound familiar! 😉
