On Monday, Aurora sent me a cactus in the mail. But not just any cactus, it was a tall mini cactus. That’s an oxymoron! 😀

Another day, I saw Boots in Re-Tail. I had a question for him: “Hey Boots, do you eat other animals?”

Today, Hornsby told me that he loves napping on big sofas. But he has a habit of drooling all over it. Yikes.

But since it’s his own house, he said it doesn’t matter. I just might want to watch where I sit when I visit.

I didn’t realize, but there was a fishing tournament today. Lolly told me that she hopes she wins an award.

That reminded me to rush over to Chip’s tent for the winners’ ceremony. Claudia won third place, Agent S was number two, and the grand prize winner was…Lolly! She got her wish! Congrats, Lolly!

After that, I finished up my night with a Saturday night performance from K.K. Slider at Club LOL. He played K.K. Waltz for me, Elise, and Dizzy.

Last Sunday night, I found Boots sleeping on the metal bench in town. I didn’t have the heart to wake him up, but I sat next to him for a moment.

On Thursday, I found a lost item (a bag) on the ground. I asked around, and I reunited it with its owner, Agent S. She told me that she put shaved ice in it! Oops, I guess it’s just shaved water now.

To thank me for returning it, she gave me some good-fortune clothes. I decided to wear them for a while.

I spotted Gulliver down on the beach tonight. He was talking about geoglyphs and alpacas, so that meant he was headed to Peru.

Boots had a new nickname for me…Beefcake. Not my favorite, but oh well. But just look at his face when he said it.

And up at Club LOL, K.K. Slider performed K.K. Chorale for me, Dizzy, and Elise.

Last night, Vivian asked me to make a delivery to Rolf. I tracked him down and handed over the gift. He was impressed with the gift-wrapping on the item. When I returned to Vivian, she acted as if only a savage would return an item without wrapping it and including a hand-written note. 😂

When I played today, Isabelle met me outside of my house. After all, today is a special day in Forest…

I was taken against my will to the event plaza, where Isabelle held a ceremony to honor me. Rolf, Big Top, and Porter also showed up. Isabelle fondly remembered the day 6 years ago when I planted the town sapling (now the town tree).

She tried to give me a gift (another sapling clock), but my pockets were full. So she said she’d send it in the mail.

Then she told everyone to whip “IT” out.

So we all fired off some party poppers. Yay!

After the event, Agent S asked me to catch an ocean fish for her…in her own, weird way.

I caught a zebra turkeyfish for her, and in return, she gave me a zebra turkeyfish folk shirt.

Once I was done playing for the day, I deposited my money into my bank account. My balance reached 113 million bells.

As for my annual slideshow of my best pictures of the year, I hope to have that done at some point over the weekend. Keep an eye out for it!
