For the purposes of this blog entry, RV doesn’t stand for recreational vehicles, it stands for Re-Tail Vehicles. 😉 That’s because I scanned my Amiibo figures of Cyrus and Reese this week. Cyrus was first up on Wednesday; this is what his RV looks like:

He didn’t have anything I wanted to order. Wisp took over Cyrus’ spot at Re-Tail, and he even started to speak like Cyrus.

Yesterday, I scanned Reese’s peanut butter cups Amiibo figure. The outside of her RV looks much like Cyrus’, just in different colors.

And this is the inside:

She felt bad that she was abandoning her customers, but that simply wasn’t true. Re-Tail had already been closed for hours by the time I scanned her Amiibo! Busted!

She also mentioned that she was missing her “Cy-Guy,” despite it only being a couple minutes since I called her away. I couldn’t help but to roll my eyes halfway to Main Street.

Today, I visited Molly and she asked what was on my mind. Actually, I was wondering why she had her head in a bug box.

The sea bass-only fishing tournament was held today, but I played too late to participate. But the results, which were posted to the town bulletin board, informed me that Vivian won the competition. Lolly finished in second place, and Boots was third.

I scanned my Reese Amiibo again today, just to see what Wisp had to say as he took Reese’s spot at Re-Tail. He informed that he can’t help because he’s no good at mental math.

On Tuesday, Rolf had fallen asleep inside his house. When I tried to talk to him, he was screaming for help after seeing a big cockroach in his dream.

Once he realized it was just a dream, he was embarrassed. He told me to erase it from my memory and not tell it to anyone. Sure thing.

Outside, I spotted the northern lights for the first time this season.

On Wednesday, I met up with Hamlet on Main Street. He’ll be jogging around here for a while now. 😛

Today, Lolly asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek, and I agreed. She gave me ten minutes to find her, Molly, and Aurora…the three short, cute villagers! (Well, I guess Agent S would fit that description too).

Within seconds, I found Molly behind a nearby tree. After about a minute, I spotted Lolly trying to hide behind the Sphinx’s butt.

And with six and a half minutes remaining, I found Aurora hiding behind Agent S’s house. Lolly gave me an alarm clock for winning the game.

Next to Booker’s house (and the face-cutout standee), I found a mushroom. Well, it was actually a mush bed, but that means it’s been there since November! Oops!

Big Top asked me to catch a bagworm for him, and that meant I would have to shake some trees. Fearing that I’d get stung by bees in the process, I bought some medicine at the shop.

It got me thinking about the medicine in Animal Crossing. A villager can take medicine every day and be cured of a cold in a week or less.

But if your face is severely swollen and disfigured from an intense allergic reaction to a bee sting, well it can fix that up instantly.

Anyway, I did encounter four bees before finding a bagworm. I caught three of them, and the 4th I avoided by running indoors. I didn’t need that medicine, after all! But eventually, I caught a bagworm and took it over to Big Top.

If you saw my December Haul post over on Jeff’s Gaming Blog, you’ll know that I got a few new Amiibo figures for Christmas. I decided to scan one of them, K.K. Slider, tonight. This is a look at the outside of K.K.’s RV.

And this is what it looks like inside. I ordered myself that metal-rim table.

I thought it was interesting that K.K. was wearing clothes in his RV. Most people get dressed to go to work, but he apparently undresses for work.

Speaking of his job, I wanted to go check out Club LOL to see if Wisp would be DJing tonight while K.K. camps. Unfortunately, the club was closed for the day instead.

I played on New Year’s Day…but it was after midnight, so it was technically January 2nd. The face-cutout standee for New Year’s Day was still up, but Isabelle was gone. So I missed out on the zodiac boar! I was so busy playing City Folk and Wild World that I forgot about New Leaf’s New Year item! Oops!

I got Bones’ goodbye letter in the mail, and he sent me his picture along with it (though I already had one).

Yesterday, Xavier offered me a zodiac boar and I went to his town of Quigley to pick it up. While I was there, he gave me a tour of his town. He has dedicated many of his PWPs to villagers (or former villagers). This was Pashmina’s wisteria trellis.

I also chatted with most of his villagers. I like how in this picture, the rainbow appears to be going over Puddles’ head.

Zucker really seems to love sushi.

I even chatted with a taller, nicer version of Ursala–she seems nothing like the Ursala I know from my GameCube town.

I also visited Xavier’s house; I think my favorite room was the ice room.

He also has an impressive gallery of villager pictures.

I enjoyed the visit to Quigley, Xavier. Thank you once again for the zodiac boar! 🙂 Speaking of the boar, I took a look at it in my house today.

I listened in on a conversation between Molly and Boots tonight. Molly said she loves reading because she loves to daydream about other worlds.

Boots could relate, in his own way, because he feels equally passionate about exercise.

They were happy to find some common ground, despite being so different.
