Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog

Hello, and welcome to my Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog! I'm Jeff and here you can follow along with my adventures in the game. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, Happy Home Designer does not run in real-time. So each blog entry will usually cover multiple "game days." If you'd like, you can start from the beginning or just jump right in!

Day 28

Isabelle was at the office today, perhaps for the last time. She said I can now design the hotel, and it will be the town's last new facility.

The hotel will have four rooms to design: the lobby, the banquet hall, and two guest rooms. I started out with the lobby. I used the newly-unlocked lobby floor, along with the (not-so-new) rococo wall. I also put in a gorgeous counter, some regal lamps, some chairs, some plants, and a fancy chandelier. Hopefully this will provide a nice first impression to out-of-towners visiting the hotel.

For the first guest room, I used a modern wall and a large white square rug. For furniture, I used the regal bed, regal vanity, and regal lamp. Unfortunately, the rest of the regal items remain unavailable. A flat screen TV provides the entertainment. I also used the new tile screen to section off a bathroom.

I noticed that many pieces of the classic furniture set have been unlocked for this project, so I decided to use them in the second guest room. Once again, I sectioned off a bathroom area. This time, I used simple panels as the dividers.

I then headed upstairs to design the banquet hall. I used the cityscape wall and the red-carpet floor here. I put in four large tables and 16 imperial chairs. When the occasion calls for it, there is a podium for the esteemed speaker, along with two whiteboards in case he or she wants to write down some key points of his or her message. Two fancy chandeliers hang over the tables, and I finished my design by putting in some of the new food items available. Who's ready to eat?

If you're interested, the code to visit my hotel is 0402-7789-430. When I was done, Isabelle reiterated that our time working together has come to an end.

Isabelle suggested having a party tomorrow to celebrate the completion of our town. Sounds great! We'll see how that turns out next time. See you then!
