Inside the Igloo

I got a letter in the mail from Katie today. She thanked me for taking her to Auctus yesterday, and she sent me this globe.

The globe that I got from Katie, the traveling cat. When I talked to Copper at the police station, he told me there was a camper in town. But of course during winter, campers don’t use a tent…they use an igloo! So I quickly made my way over there to check it out.

The igloo where campers camp in winter.Alice the koala was inside, talking about how much she loves the crackling of the fire.

Alice: I love hearing the crackle of a fire at a winter campground. There's something so magical about it.She also told me she was cooking an interesting recipe she got out of a book about shoe polish! I didn’t stick around to try it out.

Alice: I'm making the most interesting meal for dinner! I got the recipe from a book about shoe polish. My dynamic painting from Crazy Redd turned out to be a fake, unfortunately.

Reese: Oh no! If you look very closely at it, you can see it's a fake!I talked to my snowman from yesterday, and he told me to give his eyes another spin. Once again, they came up showing eleven. So I’m not sure if a snowman’s number will stay the same each day until he melts or not. Update: They don’t stay the same; it was just a coincidence that he gave me 11 two days in a row.

Snowman: 11!Today’s snowballs were much easier to find, and I pushed them together to make another bingo snowman. This one’s number was 45, which was another number I needed.

Snowman: Aha! It appears you do have 45! Please punch a hole in your card!I decided to take a picture of them both. There’s actually a tree in between them, but the tree disappears when I went in for a closer view.

My two snowmen. This is what my bingo card currently looks like:

My bingo card with three holes punched in it.Skye (the wolf) asked to visit my house, so I reluctantly invited her over. I played my harp just to make her applaud for me.

Skye applauds after hearing me play my harp. After she left, I went down to the beach to see if there was a lost item on the sand. I didn’t find a lost item, but I found a lost sailor instead. It was Gulliver of course, and he (shockingly) woke up the first time I talked to him! He was clearly on his way to Canada, so he promised to send me a gift in the mail. I’m hoping it’s not a polar bear.

Gulliver: ...Oh, Canada!I went out to my island to catch some bugs. Earning money wasn’t my goal; I was trying to catch every bug I saw to see if I would catch one I still needed. I even cut some trees down so I could get stump bugs.

I’m missing two bugs still, and I have no idea what they are. But I’m guessing they may be morning bugs (since I rarely play in mornings) or perhaps bugs that are only found on bushes (I don’t have many bushes). I didn’t catch anything new today, but I may try again in the morning sometime.

And last but not least, here is a picture of the zen clock that Rolf suggested yesterday. I don’t plan on putting it in my town, though.

Zen clock: 78,000 bells.
