Valentine’s Day 2022

Today is Valentine’s Day, and I received three valentines in the mail: Isabelle sent me a chocolate cake, Molly sent me a chocolate heart, and “Mom” sent me a comfy sweater.

Another Valentine’s Day tradition in recent Animal Crossing games is to enjoy some hot chocolate at the Roost. It’s so sweet! 💘

Me, enjoying some hot chocolate at the Roost on Valentine's Day: It's so sweet!

Rolf asked me to deliver something to Big Top (something that he left behind at Rolf’s house), and that item turned out to be a peach.

Big Top: It's my peach!

My reward was an apple! We’re just standing here trading fruit back and forth. 😂

Big Top: You must be hungry, right? Then here, have an apple!

Up in the sky, I couldn’t help but notice the northern lights…and a nearly full moon. It was a pretty sight to behold.

The northern lights and a nearly full moon light up the sky.

The two villagers whose pictures I still need (Inkwell and Cube) were both hiding out in the museum…where I can’t have regular conversations with them and can’t make any progress in growing our friendship. Boots was also in the museum, so that’s 30% of my town! It’s so annoying! I wish it was limited to zero one villager at a time.

I also found a couple of former villagers in the museum, including Hippeux. He was complaining that there aren’t any paintings with ripped males flexing their muscles. 😛

Hippeux: You ever notice they don't seem to have any ripped males flexing their muscles in these paintings...

He even suggested that he could model for some paintings. Yikes. 😛

Hippeux: If it's for the sake of art, I can pose as a model if necessary!
I’ve never been so glad to not be an artist.

Pascal had his RV parked at the campground, and he looks different without his hat.

Pascal: That face when you find fresh scallops on the beach... Mmm, mmmm!

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Cooper from Suna and Skylar from Ashton. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! 💖💖💖

  1. When I first saw Pascal in NH and he asked for my scallop,I said yes, because I think he’s just an otter trying to survive in the deep oceans and find scallops to eat. Sometimes he’ll find old notes and clothing left by mermaids. Sometimes he’ll find pearls. But they mean nothing to him,and he’ll gladly trade them for his precious scallops.
