Daisy’s Pic

Daisy asked me for some fruit today, and I gave her a perfect orange. She loved it! In fact, she liked it so much that she rewarded me with her picture!

Daisy: Take my Daisy's pic as a token of my appreciation! She’s only lived in Forest for two and a half months, which might make her the quickest villager to give me a picture (excluding April Fool’s Day pictures, of course). I took the picture home and put it in my emerald modern room.

Merka came over to participate too, but we only earned silver the two times we tried it. It seems harder with multiple people for some reason. Still, 14 medals plus 5 bonus medals isn’t bad.

Tortimer: Wow! That's quite a catch! You've earned a Silver Tortimer award and 14 medals! After that, we returned to shore and I ended the session. Sometimes the days that I have good tours happen to be the days I’m not in the mood for playing lots of them. Oh well. I’m going to get that gold medalist badge one of these days…

Luna told me that my most recent dream visitor was Coraline from Cornwall. Thanks for visiting!

A Joyous Dream

Late last night, Merka invited me over to her town for a few island tours. Her island had the tuna kahuna tour, which can earn you 20 medals per game. We went on it a few times to rack up some medals.

No way! But it was cute how Molly was sharing her umbrella with Aurora…oh wait…oh no, Molly’s umbrella is slicing through Aurora’s head! That’s not nice at all!

Aurora: So would you consider trading your emerald for my No. 67 shirt?Meanwhile, all the rain was making Daisy’s feet all soaked and wrinkly. Aww, poor doggie. Daisy is so cute.

Daisy: All the walking I've been doing today has my feet all soaked and wrinkly, it's ruff!Saharah was in town, and I paid her 3,000 bells for some new wallpaper and carpet. She put in a western vista and an ancient tile. I like both of these a lot, but I already had an ancient tile in storage.

You can click that link for lots of pictures and details, but I’m going to show some additional, bonus pictures here as well. The town of JOY has different themed areas, including a Christmas-themed north pole area.

Noel: Santa Claus is coming.Another area is based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Snow: Where is my Prince Charming? It’s really a beautiful town.

Purrl: How odd! I don't even remember you knocking, My Queen. Each themed area of town had at least one face-cutout standee to poke your head through. The Halloween area had a ghost one, as well as this witch.

Back in Forest tonight, Tom asked me to make a delivery to Kabuki. I took the item over, and Kabuki told me it was actually a present for me–a nebula tee.

Kabuki: Heh! A nebula tee!I put the shirt on and headed back up to the dream suite. I updated my town, and Luna told me that Clayton from Lebanon was my most recent dream visitor.

I finished my night out at the island. Merka recently told me that the elite scavenger hunt was the most efficient tour when it comes to earning the most medals in the shortest amount of time. I went on the tour five or six times, averaging just over three minutes each. That earned me 16 medals each time (except for once when I only got silver).

Tortimer: Your performance has earned you a Gold Tortimer award and 16 medals!

A Sunday Snooze

Joan was in town this morning, selling turnips for 104 bells each. I bought 3,100 of them.

Joan: The asking price is 104 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?Daisy told me she had a dream about Jake from State Farm (it may have been spelled StatFarm), but I accidentally skipped past it before I was able to take a picture. Oops.

Later on this evening, Kabuki told me he was going to move out of town on June 30th. Naturally, I told him to stick around. I may let him move out eventually, but not today.

Kabuki: It's about time I moved on! I'll be leaving on the 30th of this very month!I went out to the island, but the selection of tours wasn’t very good. I went on the elite balloon-hunt tour twice: I got silver (7 medals) the first time and gold (12 medals) the second time.

Tortimer: Wow! You must really hate balloons! Please accept the Gold Tortimer award and 12 medals! When I returned, I found Daisy taking a Sunday snooze on the town’s metal bench.

Daisy: Snoooooooooooze...How cute!

Daisy: Oh no! I must have dozed off.I sat next to her for a few minutes before wrapping up my game for the night.
