Ice Cream Cone

As soon as I started up the game today, Big Top approached me. He told me he was going to move out of town on the 20th of this month! No way! So I yanked on his trunk and didn’t let go until he agreed to stay.

After that, I turned around to check my mail. Gulliver sent me a pagoda from Japan. I later gave it to Big Top when he asked me for furniture.

After finding a ruby in today’s fake rock, Molly offered to trade for it. She gave me her bathtub in return!

I went up to check a new house in the Happy Homes Showcase, and I got a new treat from Ian. For the first time, I got an ice cream cone! It was a lemon double scoop. Not the best flavor, but hey, it’s ice cream!

I thought I’d be able to press the A button to take a lick, much like you can sip the coffee-to-go from the Roost. But when I pressed the A button, my character gobbled down the whole cone! All at once! WHYYYY? I was happy to get my first ice cream cone, and then it’s gone in under a second! This was quite disappointing.

When I went to the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Cloe from Panem was my most recent dream visitor. But when I went to shop, I couldn’t! It was already after 9:00 and my stores were closed. So annoying! I’m used to playing Disney Magical World, which also uses a real-time clock, but keeps the shops open around the clock. It’s so much better that way.

Rolf sold me a famous painting, and I already had one in my museum. So I gave it away to Jedi from Gotham.

You can use either method for one entry, or both methods for two entries. The contest will end on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. All valid entries will be entered into a spreadsheet and a random number generator will be used to choose three winners. The winners will be announced later that night on my April 23rd New Leaf blog entry and on Twitter.

I will also attempt to contact the winner directly at that time. If I am unable to contact you for any reason, you must contact me and claim the prize (by opening your New Leaf gate for me) by Saturday, April 26th at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. If you don’t, you will forfeit the prize. Note: If a winning entry was from a comment left on JVGS, the prize will ONLY be given to the winning friend code chosen (to prevent abuse).

Other notes: I am unable to keep the winners on my friend roster after the prizes have been delivered. If a winner does not claim the prize by April 26th, another winner will be chosen. That replacement winner will also have three days to claim the prize.
