A Trip to Tomville

Soon after starting up the game today, Tom messaged me and told me he was opening his gate. I haven’t visited his town in a long time, so I decided to drop by Tomville. His friends Lily and Pichi were also there. We helped him water his flowers.

Watering flowers in Tomville.Tom’s house looks a bit haunted. Have you been hearing chains rattling in the attic, Tom?

Tom's spooky looking house.I stopped to have a little chat with my friend Savannah the zebra.

Savannah: Have we wet before? And Tom dug some holes and glitched onto a house. He then fell off into one of the holes. I tried to kick some dirt in his face, but it wouldn’t let me.

Samus Tom in a hole.We had a small hammer fight, but unfortunately I didn’t have my hammer with me. I usually leave it on the ground by my town tree for dream visitors. The next time I see one for sale on the island, I should buy it to have one to keep with me (attached to a letter). Anyway, Tom has a large checkerboard of patterns, alternating with my Wii U logo (available here) and a Toon Link pattern. This was the only picture I got of all four of us today.

A group photo in Tomville.Tom’s shop was closed, so we protested by trying to break the windows with our shovels. It may sound violent, but the Nooklings have shovel-proof glass for some reason. They must not trust us! Hmmph!

Trying to break into the Emporium.Shortly after that, we got disconnected. Poor Tom had to water his flowers all over again. I didn’t return to Tomville though, because I still needed to do my normal tasks around my own town. Big Top tried to tell me he was moving out of town on October 29th, but of course I made him stay.

Big Top: A huh huh huh! Yeah, why would I move when I have great friends like you, Mr. J?I also found Saharah nearby, so I hired her and made the short walk back to my house. She put in a groovy wall and some slate flooring.

A groovy wall and slate flooring.I didn’t think it was groovy at all, so I wiped the slate clean and went back to how it already was. I went to put something in storage, and then Drago barged in. These surprise visitors always seem to strike right after Saharah leaves! Saharah must call them afterwards and say “He’s home. Now’s your chance!”

Drago drops by for an unexpected visit.I sat down until Drago left, and then I resumed my walk around town. Curlos was camping out at the campsite today. I’ve had a lot of campers lately! Unfortunately, none of them have been animals I’ve wanted to move in.

Curlos: I'm Curlos. I'm in town for a little camping trip. It's so nice around here. I love it!Over by the river behind the town tree, I found a lost item.

A lost item on the ground. So I began asking my villagers about it. It didn’t belong to Octavian, but my 8-legged friend asked me for a dragonfly. I tracked down a red dragonfly for him, and he rewarded me with a tropical tank. Even though that might sound like a fish tank of tropical fish, it’s just a tank top.

Octavian: Oh, man! That is one good-looking red dragonfly! Thanks! After asking six of my villagers, I finally found the owner of the lost book: Drago. I wonder why he would need a book called “How to Train Your Dragon.” Anyway, he rewarded me with a blue letter jacket.

Drago: Hey! This is my book! I was looking everywhere for this thing! I figured it was gone forever. After that, I went up to the Dream Suite and updated my dream town. Luna told me that Kaetia from Starfall was my most recent dream visitor.

That wrapped up my day, but I have one last picture to show you. I used the Animal Crossing Plaza on Wii U to take a look at my current New Leaf villagers.

My New Leaf villagers as seen in Animal Crossing Plaza.Have a good weekend, everyone!
