Winter is Winding Down

On Sunday night, I saw the northern lights up in the sky. That might be the last time I see them this winter.

Northern lights above Forest.Yesterday, I took a dream adventure to the farming and nursery rhyme town of Farmland (dream address 4400-3561-6512). I have a full write-up and over 20 pictures at that link, but here are a couple of bonus pictures:

Vegetables growing in Farmland.Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep. (Farmland)Tonight, while I was walking around south of the river, I saw a snowball get pushed into the river! At first, I was wondering which of my clumsy villagers bumped into it, but then I realized it was probably just a dung beetle.

A snow ball got pushed into the river.Agent S asked me for an ocean fish, so I went down to the sea to do some fishing.  I was planning on just catching one fish and giving her that, but things changed when I caught a tuna. That’s too valuable to give away! So I tried for another fish…and I caught another tuna! What are the odds?

I caught a tuna! And now it's stuck in my head. The third fish I caught was a red snapper…still too valuable for a fish request. I tried a fourth time, and I caught a sea bass. Perfect.

I found a lost mitten on the ground, and I eventually reunited it with its owner, Dizzy. As if an elephant’s mitten would look identical to a duck’s mitten. But he was glad to get it back, and he gave me a robo-lamp for my trouble.

Dizzy: This is definitely my mitten. Now I won't have to wander around with one cold hand!
Maybe you need the lamp yourself; it’s dark in here!

Molly asked me to take a short quiz, and she concluded that I needed to take up boogie boarding.

Molly: Dedicate yourself to the art of boogie boarding!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Hugh from Haroldon.

Believe it or not, tomorrow is the last day of having snow on the ground! Are you glad or sad? I’m kind of neutral towards it, although I will miss my snowflake money-making routine.

Thanks for stopping by, and remember to check out Farmland if you haven’t already!

  1. Oh, I forgot that today the snow disappears! My town is set a month behind date wise, but I was planning to time travel to the correct date to experience the snow disappearing with everyone else. Oh well. It gives me more time to finish my town, which I hope to be done by in game April.
I’ll definitely miss the northern lights, and the igloos. There’s also a huge area in my town filled with cool and light colored flowers, and it probably will look weird against the green grass. It looked so nice with the snow.

    1. Yes, I’m sure I’ll be transforming into Mohawk McClover again this year. It might not be exactly on March 1st, but I will do it at some point before St. Patrick’s Day arrives.

  2. I get excited for the grass always! It’s a nice change! But I always love December 11 when the snow covers everything! It looks so cool over Christmas. Then after Christmas it’s not as fun. I’m kinda neutral to through. I’m sure I’ll be happy when I play it before I go to school tomorrow… and see new grass!

  3. To be honest, I’m a little bit sad but mostly happy the snow is going away. I prefer the grass on the ground to the snow, and I prefer the town tree when it has leaves on it. However, I do enjoy the snowmen and the igloos, so those aspects will be missed.

  4. I AM SO GLAD.

Seriously, I’m beyond fed up of having snow all over everything. I love the seasons though, because I know I’ll be looking forward to it again in December. Saying that, one thing I will miss is definitely the igloo.
