Last Sunday, Tex the penguin was camping at the campsite for the 2nd time. I’m not interested in him, but I still said hello (and goodbye).
Ketchup asked me for a new catchphrase on Tuesday, and I told her to say “squeeze me.” You know, like a ketchup bottle. 😛
She was talking about dancing uncontrollably to a samba tune, and she needs help to stop.
Today is K.K. Slider day, and as you know, he practices in the plaza all day long. But here’s one (nitpicky) detail that bothers me. I often see a (fairly) big crowd watching K.K. practice during the day…
And then later, you know, during the actual concert, there’s hardly a soul around!
Ankha and I enjoyed the show, but I wish there was more interest in the actual show than just the warm-ups. 😛
Not much else was going on tonight, but here are a few other quick notes about this week:
On Tuesday, I sold seven bugs to Flick for 28,500 bells.
I helped Gulliver on Wednesday, and he sent me an ancient administrator hat. It was hideous. 😆
Agent S was sick Thursday, so I gave her some medicine. She quickly recovered, and she gave me an athletic jacket.
I returned a lost item to Peanut, and she thanked me with a sleeveless tunic.
Wednesday was June’s birthday, so I headed over to her birthday party. I gave her a busing station that I bought at Nook’s Cranny. Despite what June said (it was her new catchphrase), it cost a lot more than one bell. 😉
Peanut was also at her party, and she was excited to see June so happy. 🙂
Happy birthday, June! 🎂🎈
The next day, I ran into June at the shop. She said she couldn’t find anything good to buy for one bell. Yeah, you can’t buy much for one bell these days. 😉
Bob asked for a new catchphrase, and I told him to say “for an ugly.”
Yesterday, Merengue also asked me for a new catchphrase. As you can probably see, I’m trying not to ignore these requests lately. So I told Merengue to say “in a pie.”
Since May 18th, the Stamp Rally has been underway. Tonight, I went into the bug exhibit to collect the stamps. I found the stations at the Shady Path, Coconut Corner, and Bug Farms locations.
I took my completed form to Blathers, and he rewarded me with a bug plaque. I later gave it as a gift to Peanut. She gave me a mosaic-tile wall in return.
Here are a few other quick notes about this week:
I helped Gullivarrr on Tuesday, and he sent me another pirate’s hat.
On Thursday, I sold 15 fish to C.J. for 135,450 bells.
Yesterday, I sold 11 bugs to Flick for 41,250 bells.
Tonight, I asked K.K. Slider for a random song. He performed “K.K. Disco” for me and Ketchup.
The Stamp Rally runs through the end of the month, so you still have time to check it out! I’ll see you next time.
On Sunday, June asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “in my hair.” So I told her to say “for 1 bell.” She then told me about her idea to cook a fortune-telling apple cake.
On Monday, I spotted Marina on Lottie’s Island (the Happy Home Paradise island)! Even though Marina has lived in Forest on two separate occasions, she did not remember me. 🙁
Ankha was talking about her fashion choice of an open track jacket on Tuesday, and her catchphrase made it sound like she hates being active. 😛
On Wednesday, Mint the green squirrel was camping at the campsite! I like her; she’s really cute!
However, my town already has three squirrels, and I’m not looking to add a 4th one right now. But at least I currently have Mint in my City Folk town.
Ankha reminded me that June’s birthday is coming up soon, on May 21st. That’s next Wednesday. But I’m not so sure that Ankha was looking forward to it. 😆
On Thursday, Bob was commenting about the striped shirt he gave me…
Except he didn’t give me that shirt! I found it in the recycle box a couple weeks ago! I don’t know why he thinks he gave it to me. Maybe he owned it previously before he put it in the recycle box? I have no idea. 🤷
Yesterday, Katrina told me about a gluttonous sea otter who was looking for dinner…but his shell was empty.
That (apparently) meant my luck with belongings would diminish. I paid Katrina 10,000 for purification, and today she sent me another mini dharma. So I still don’t have her 4th item, but I’ll keep trying.
Bob was sitting on the ground at an angle, so when I spoke with him, he looked almost directly at the camera. He looked kinda funny, almost like a Muppet. 😛
You’re… a huh huh huh… sitting.
At the plaza tonight, I asked K.K. Slider for a random song. He performed “K.K. Waltz” for me, Agent S, Bob, and Merengue.
Here are a few other quick notes about this week:
On Sunday, I got my latest HHA score: 145,043 points. That’s a small increase, due to the addition of my power stone I added last week.
I helped out Wisp on Tuesday, and he gave me some strapped books. These books are bound to leave an impression!
I shot down a balloon present on Wednesday, and I found a cactus inside!
I helped out Gulliver, and he sent me a silk hat.
Thursday, I returned a lost item to Peanut. She gave me a retro sweater as thanks.
Yesterday, Flick was in town. I sold him 16 bugs for a total of 61,500 bells.
Static was sick with a cold today, so I gave him some medicine. In return, he gave me a baseball uniform.
