Hardly a Soul

Last Sunday, Tex the penguin was camping at the campsite for the 2nd time. I’m not interested in him, but I still said hello (and goodbye).

Tex, at the campsite: So far, I like what I'm seeing. 100 percent of Texs would rate this campground highly.

Ketchup asked me for a new catchphrase on Tuesday, and I told her to say “squeeze me.” You know, like a ketchup bottle. 😛

Ketchup: So you think I should be saying... squeeze me?

She was talking about dancing uncontrollably to a samba tune, and she needs help to stop.

Ketchup: Sometimes it never stops and you have to yell for help, squeeze me!

Today is K.K. Slider day, and as you know, he practices in the plaza all day long. But here’s one (nitpicky) detail that bothers me. I often see a (fairly) big crowd watching K.K. practice during the day…

Static, Merengue, Ankha, Bob, and Jeff watch K.K. practice during the day.

And then later, you know, during the actual concert, there’s hardly a soul around!

K.K., performing for just Jeff and Ankha: Right on. I'm tuned up and ready to roll. Who's in the mood for a little K.K. Soul?

Ankha and I enjoyed the show, but I wish there was more interest in the actual show than just the warm-ups. 😛

Not much else was going on tonight, but here are a few other quick notes about this week:

  • On Tuesday, I sold seven bugs to Flick for 28,500 bells.
  • I helped Gulliver on Wednesday, and he sent me an ancient administrator hat. It was hideous. 😆
  • Agent S was sick Thursday, so I gave her some medicine. She quickly recovered, and she gave me an athletic jacket.
  • I returned a lost item to Peanut, and she thanked me with a sleeveless tunic.
