Now that September is here, many valuable summer bugs and fish are out of season. That’s disappointing, but I realized I had never cooked two of the food recipes that require salmon. Now that salmon have returned this month, I was able to get those done.
I made some poke, and I also made a salmon sandwich that I gave to Ankha. She loved it.
She gave me a shop uniform shirt to thank me.
On Tuesday, Pascal popped up from under the sea to ask me for a scallop. I gave him one, and he told me some words of wisdom about music just being air that’s dancing.
He gave me a pearl for the scallop.
On Thursday, Static was telling me about his journal that he writes in. He said when he doesn’t have anything in particular to write down, he just jots down some puns! No wonder I like him so much!
Just…without the tail.
Hans the abominable snowman was camping at the campsite for the 2nd time. But I still was not interested in having him chill in Forest.
Yesterday, it was raining when I started up the game. But it stopped within minutes, and a bit later, I spotted a rainbow in the sky! This was my 3rd rainbow I’ve seen in Forest.
Tonight, K.K. Slider was in town for his weekly show. I asked him for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Mambo” for me and June.
Here are a few other quick notes about this week:
- On Monday, I sold 32 bugs to Flick for 258,750 bells. That will probably be my last huge haul for him until next summer.
- Wednesday, I returned a lost item to Merengue. She rewarded me with a suspender outfit.
- I helped out Gullivarrr yesterday, and he sent me a sea captain’s coat.
- Today, Louie was sick with a cold. I gave him some medicine, and he handed over a flashy jacket in return.
